Never realised that he was in The Deuce, now I know you can see that he is a Gandolfini.

Never watched it. I take it he's good and probably with James' mannerisms?
Anyone else being strangely drawn to Dion Dublin's nipples?

His character only started getting fleshed out towards the end of S2,he is the nephew of a Brothel owner (James Franco) which is run by his dad (Chris Baeur).

Sobotka's son on The Deuce was fucking sleazy and left me rather unimpressed but far from a central character and not much screen time.

Let's see how he will act the inevitable panic attack in the film.

btw there is a podcast going on that goes through each episode of the series  (they are up to No. 44) where they deeply analyse the things that makes Sopranos so good. In At The End is called.

Started listening and it's prompted me to earmark Sunday when my GF goes for her long run to go back for another rewatch from episode 1

It's a very good listen if you are interested in going to even the tinniest details. I think they over analyse it at times and Val's constant "hmmmm, hmmm" could be tiring but you get used to it.  ;D

Yep. I do know what you mean. I enjoy a bit of the over analysis of things though.

I'd say given my job I'm like that myself at times, but the enjoying it so far.

Sometimes I forget how great Steve Buscemi was in this. There's so many great performances in this show he sometimes gets overshadowed.

Love this scene between him and Gandolfini:

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

I only got round to watching this for the first time ever recently.

Binged all 6 seasons quickly.

Thought it was good but couldn't really see why everyone raves about it. Breaking Bad much better in my opinion.

Maybe because I watched too many too soon it ruined the experience.

Was thinking of the deaths which affected me the most in the show. And bizarrely it's the death of Angelo by Phil and his brother.

Not really sure why but really felt sorry for the old guy.
