Technically, if it finished 0 - 0 on Wednesday, Spurs go through. So yes, we did win the first leg.  ;D

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

That's not fair. Tottenham were going to win this competition. In fact they had won it already. Everyone kept saying so. And Glenn Hoddle has gone and committed suicide.

Massive upset this.  I didn't expect sprightly little upstarts like Juventus to beat the mighty Tottenham Hotspur, champions of the beat Real Madrid trophy'. Just astounded really.

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Oof. That's got to hurt. Thought Spurs probably shaded it on balance of play over two legs, but Juve have got the nous. Fair play to them and their Argie strikers.

I almost feel sorry for Spurs, but then I remember Dele Alli, Saint Greg Louganis and the media love in and any sympathy just sort of slips away.

I didn’t watch the game but I kept checking the bbc updates, seemed very comfortable for spurs, they seemed to be in control. A few minutes were their concentration lapsed and they’re out. I feel sorry for them, tough way to go out.
