Porto or Ajax please. Ajax have suddenly got mad overrated, done really well to get where they are and took advantage of a shit, slow, unmotivated Real but they won't be able to hang with us, they gave away zillions of chances over the two legs v Real. Expecting an annoying English draw though.

I agree they are a talented side but they can't handle us defensively. Real had hit the woodwork about 3 times in the 2nd match

I see what you mean and a middling side like Porto or Man Utd would be fine but on the other hand, I'd also like us to play a quality historic European outfit like Ajax or Barcelona. It's tough to decide which one I'd prefer.

they're a talented young side that deserves to mature together, IMHO... but we know they're gonna be torn apart come the next transfer window. Wouldn't be surprised if next season's Ajax isn't anywhere near this side.

Nailed on to get a premier league team. Just like the Rafa era, for 5 straight seasons we get drawn against premier league opposition. It felt like any time we could be drawn against a premier league team, we were.

I remember the clusterfuck of '08. Arsenal in the quarters, then chelsea in the semis, then if we'd won that, the mancs in the final.

We really do fear nobody. But drawing premier league teams is a fucking pain in the arse.

The conspiracy theorist in me says the proof tomorrow will not only be whomCity get in the QF, but also their potential opponents in the semis.

I think with Real last year, if we need to beat one of the better teams to win it, then I'd rather it be over 2 legs than a final.
