Was honestly expecting the club to raise the prices after 3 successive price freezes.

No PL club could even begin to properly justify a price increase.

There was no actual agreement to freeze in the supporter forum and there are ongoing discussions about some innovation that could see prices drop. Those discussions cut across the availability forum as well which shows how inadequate the forum system is.

Rest assured the SOS reps are batting for price reductions and we may be closer to that than we ever have been.

Zebra Finance look like they are closing their books on ST finance for all Clubs.

Club being asked by SOS about position and alternative options as we speak.

I know we would all love reductions. Liverpool's books dont lie. We make more on ticket revenue than Man city over the past 12 months (yes even with their huge stadium that they 'sell out' every week).

Technically it is an inflationary 5% drop in real terms over the last 3 years. Yet still over 900% more than in the 90's. So still work to be done

It at the very least gives fans time to plan for the new season

The Club's coming Fan ID scheme (the amnesty) is to get the right name on every ticket. This will include those who have inherited them and being using them for sometime. It will also allow users of tickets to get their name on them where the current owner agrees that they can take the ticket.

Currently there are an average of around 2000 seats empty at each home PL game.

It will see a number of people capable of being named to use the ticket during the season for an unlimited number of times in that season - this will allow people to take a season break if needed (work, illness, potless) or to allow STs to be shared.

The caveat will be that the ticket HAS to be used - if a season ticket (without proper explanation) goes unused during a season for a number of games the sanction will be the ST is lost.

The Club also plan to make recycling the season ticket easier and with the full value being credited back a few days after it goes back so it can be resold. This will help address the unused seat issue for ST. There will obviously be some times when the ST cannot be used (emergency on day of game or breakdown travelling etc).

The aim to increase the recycling can then lead to a stage two which can see some innovation with ticket prices as the number of available tickets increases above what there are now available to recycled by the Club.

Great news on both the prices and the amnesty - multiple users but without empty seats sounds like what most people have been after all along.

Good work all, and at least there isn't a price hike.

Graham - do you anticipate the amnesty making any sort of significant dent in the waiting list? ie if someone has been using a ST belonging to someone else, and gets it transferred to them, but is also on the waiting list, will the club be making sure they get taken off? I know the numbers on this would be fairly difficult to gauge as it's largely guesswork - but if it did happen I'd hope it would at least make a bit of a dent.

Doesn't look like there was any ID additions during the renewal process.

Went through pretty simply with the auto-cup
