Don't forget to clean the mouth. An instant catchphrase.

Also liked how he forced Simon to ask out the girl from the office and was then surprised (and saddened) when she said yes. That and the drawing of Michael last week give you a real glimpse into his lonely private life.

‘Come out ye Black and Tans’ and ‘the men behind the wire’ on the BBC before the 10 o’clock news. Holy fuck!

“Like an ad for the IRA”  ;D

I'm still not the better of it. Double O feckin' bollocks.

Thought it wasn't great until the CPR thing - the Monty Don thing was pretty predictable, but that sex doll and Martin was an unbelievably funny 1-2 finish.

The rebel songs at the end. It was just about top drawer, that episode.

And his webcam to the Phillipines. And his corsets.

Every episode seems to have a bit that drags, and this week it was the Monty Don bit. I would have thought Alan would try to cram a lot more of his own product placements into it but it was fairly subtle, and it detracts from the premise of 'This Time' as I can't accept such a show would air that segment as it turned out.

But yeah, lots of great little lines throughout, and the last 5 minutes were genius.

The Phillipines line and subsequent attempt at a recovery when he realised it sounded dodgy was hilarious. Love the subtle bits.

Agreed that the Monty Don bit wasn’t as good but did chuckle every time it showed that couple really going for it in the hotel bar over Monty’s shoulder.

The time delay stuff was funny too. The fact when Jenny spoke they were perfectly in syncy so was she just doing it to piss him off?!

Simon bits seemed better this week too.

I'm convinced Simon's bits were written to be deliberately shit to start with. It seems so in line with how new presenters cope with being in front of the cameras.

Probably, he’s getting to grips with his new technology and a bit more confident. Love his little looks to Alan as he’s working his way through the menu screens like a son looking to his dad for praise (I might be reading too much into it :D ).

That's exactly right Nick.

I love the reporter bits. I was thinking the time delay confusion was a really weak gag compared to the first two exchanges but when she started talking to Jenny normally I 'got' it and it looked like it was her revenge for him getting the better of her last week.

Once you realized he kept his CPR dummy in the attic, you knew it'd be dodgy but fuck me that was hilarious!

They couldn't have chosen or dressed the dummy up any better, time delay sketch was funny too, as was the rude old racist woman. The look a like and his IRA sing a long at the end was pure comedy class on a different level.

If you know your  CPR by the way you really should do the compressions to the tune and rate of 'staying alive', that's the way I was taught it.

And although Partridge was clearly enjoying the rescue breaths, just compression is the recommended method of CPR these days.
