Yeah, Lovren is all over him in terms of aerial ability, can pass at least as well as him and has more credentials than Maguire at the highest level (namely World Cup & Champions League) as well.

If he's as good as Lovren, they'll improve pretty well in defense, but he's not. Also, they have systemic problems that won't be solved by 1 player or 2.
