Win this and top 4 is on. We will back on track.

Sick of all these glass half empty idiots on here.

Until we face another team at the bottom of the table.

No Ozil is a huge blow to us because it would have been a guarantee of us overrunning them in midfield and it would mean one speedster less for them. It's just our luck just like with Leicester being fired up the most against us of all the games this season. We can't catch a break.

I bet if he was playing, you would be saying that that was a huge blow to us.

Fascinating selection from Wenger. I guess that's the talking point if we beat them.

IMO if you on the bench your fit enough or shouldn't be on the bench

Cb gets injured in the first min , I'd expect him to come on

It's often a calculated risk to give players returning from injury some minutes.

We've beaten some of those teams this season, and you can't deny that some have been terminally miserable and glass-half-empty in the last few months. I know there's not much to be happy about right now, but we even had people on here like that during the early part of the season.

Look on the bright side. If Matip/Klavan get injured, Lovren might have 45 minutes in him. And Lucas possibly might too. So with two substitutions we could cover one position adequately ;)

As good as we've been against them I'm a little concerned that Wenger has picked the right team to face us for once. Iwobi, Chamberlain and Welbeck can all hurt us with pace, while Giroud could easily expose our inability to defend set pieces. That front four might also press us high up which we don't like.

Having Can in that holding role doesn't help as he's been really poor for a while now, I'd rather have Stewart though it's possible he's injured.

Weird line up by Wenger. He may be actually abandoning his philosphy in order to bypass our press with Giroud in the line up. But Giroud usually does well against us.

Surprised by no Sanchez and Walcott, who have given us problems before as well..

Weird  all around.

No changes from us in terms of shape which isn't a surprise.

Or people actually watch football and have seen Arsenal many times over last two years in big away games where Ozil has been anonymous in every single one of them (ask any Arsenal fan if you don't believe).

Without Cazorla when you get to press Coquelin and Xhaka it's so easy to block that connection between them and Ozil - if you ever seen Arsenal away this season you should have been able to notice this.

No Sanchez is an interesting call by Wenger. However, I can see the reason behind it both tactically and as a signal.

The ball tends to stick to his feet. Always wanting to turn and make something happen, which plays right into the pressing game of Liverpool. Obviously, he tends to make something good out of it, but it is definitely not a good trait against a team like Liverpool.

As a signal, it shows Sanchez and the unavailable Özil that they are not above the team and that the club can and will function without them.

There's no Sanchez or Walcott for them either, and I don't tend to watch Arsenal games unless we're playing them.

Guess there is not much that can be done on the team selection, we are restricted by injuries and the fact that there are no others in the squad in form ready to come in. We just need everyone to pull together and focus on doing the right things on the pitch. If we do the right things then hopefully we will get the rewards.

No Sanchez is a big bonus and obviously Walcott's pace could've been a problem for us so we have to take advantage.

COMON U REDMEN!!!

Why on earth did we turn down offers for Kev Stewart and then give him a new contract? He's not had a look in since despite Henderson being out.

Hopefully Sanchez has been dropped due to something behind the scenes - contract disagreements or not being arsed in training - the last thing we need is him motivated and firing.

Xhaka is a walking timebomb, so would like to see us get amongst them with some tough tackles and a bit of fight. For all of our pressing and passing we can look lightweight at times, so it would be good to see a bit of bite to our game and there's no better team to try it against than Arsenal. My only worry is they have lots of pace so hopefully our defenders are more focussed than against Leicester.

Countinho and Firmino are due a good performance so hopefully today's the day. A home defeat to top 4 rivals would be damaging.

Got a good feeling we'll see a reaction in front of our fans and our record against the top sides is excellent this season. 3-1 to us.

Come on redmen!
