Great result. Really good second half, mostly good first half bar some lax defensive errors. Team did well to deal with the occasion, and the quiet atmosphere.
Only frustration is that it appears, as with Fabinho, that Klopp is only going to utilise the squad when it's forced on him. The conservatistm with the bench doesn't look like it's ever going to go away. Two minutes for Keita, entirely pointless exercise. Bringing Milner on was baffling and was also weird taking off our freshest attacking player in Shaqiri.
In the short term, it's obviously more than ok. We're performing brilliantly in the league. It's just that in the long term it'll leave us with players going in cold and unfamiliar when they're required (see Fabinho at Arsenal, see Origi at Red Star). It's a vicious circle because Klopp isn't going to start to trust players like Fabinho or Keita in competitive based on two minute performances. But we aren't going to put on cricket scores if we're leaving our tired players out there, conserving energy.
We were spoiled by the almost over-preparation by Rafa, so it's hard not to see Klopp's generally great use of the squad as an obvious marginal gain to come, if he improves with considering the physical aspects of who he's bringing on and off (eg if you start Lallana and Sturridge, you're restricting yourself because they're both not performing physically for more than 50-60 minutes)
