At this point I'm convinced that Emre has compromising photos of Klopp.

There's always a player evrey manager has a soft spot for no matter what. Emre is Kloppo's.  :D

Lucas is slow and a bit shit.

Should be nowhere near the side.

You should be nowhere near this forum. Acting like a complete bellend with that shite.

Why the fuck is Lucas starting at Centre Back when we've got a talented and young Centre Back sitting on the bench?  ???

How does Lucas keep getting starts for us? Even with two central defenders out, i'd rather play Gomez or a youngster ahead of him.

I do rate him but he needs to be dropped for a while to go away and rethink his game. Apart from a goal against Bournemouth and a few decent second half showings he's been pretty bad since November.

Plus Wijnaldum scores and gets dropped? Don't get that at all personally unless fitness is the issue.
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

Never actually said that, i mentioned quality and lack of fitness, Matip only seems to have a problem with one of those, Lovren manages to stay fit more, but to counter has a serious lack of quality for a team attempting to challenge for the league.

And you do need a fit centre half to build around, if Matip can't stay fit he too won't have as promising future here as he could have, but at least he's a pretty good cb.

totally disagree with you that he lacks quality. and think you're choosing an odd time to argue that since lovren has played significantly better than matip since matip returned

He's had any injury the last few months, which the medical is working with him on. It would explain why he has become less mobile. Sometimes having injuries mean that resting will not make them go away, so you have play through the pain barrier to an extent. I would assume that is what's happening with Can now. But the manager sounded a lot more confident about him in the interview he did, and it hasn't stopped him from playing okay in other games.

I've always said Klopp rates Can. When he's fit he often plays him.

Anfield HQ ‏@AnfieldHQ 34m34 minutes ago
Jurgen Klopp believes Emre Can’s contract stand-off hasn’t affected his form as he insisted: "He knows what I want." (James Pearce)

Anfield HQ ‏@AnfieldHQ 34m34 minutes ago
Can's current deal expires at the end of next season and negotiations with his representative over an extension have stalled. (James Pearce)

Anfield HQ ‏@AnfieldHQ 34m34 minutes ago
Klopp: "I speak to the players, not the press. Emre knows exactly what we want. That’s the only thing that matters."

Anfield HQ ‏@AnfieldHQ 33m33 minutes ago
Klopp: "Emre has for the first time had no problems with his calves. We need him. In different parts of the game he is really consistent."

Anfield HQ ‏@AnfieldHQ 33m33 minutes ago
Klopp: "Chelsea was his best game Emre has had for Liverpool for a few weeks, that is for sure."

Anfield HQ ‏@AnfieldHQ 34m34 minutes ago
Klopp on Can: "It would be nice if we have now found the solution. Everyone could see the difference when he’s able to play without issues."

it's clear we are making room for Can to try to convince him to stay. i personally think this is a shame, and wish we played our better and more in form players. i think it should be Can doing the convincing as to whether he deserves a new contract, not Klopp. it looks weak.

but as i said earlier, hope it works out and our front 3 or 4 can protect our weak spine today

Disappointing side, shows our lack of depth
Glad to see mane on
Actually think we look pedantic in midfield and having loaned sakho out we needed a centre half
It's great being run sensibly as a business but one or two players would have really pushed things on for lfc.

No we're not the manager seems confident he will stay longer. They are trying to guide him through an injury that he's had for a while.

What the fuck is this sentence? :D
It's due to our pedantic midfield, that keep things borderline OCD neat and organised that our lack of Sakho as centre half has been exposed - fact that remained hidden before, while we played our clutter-happy midfield that left their socks around and didn't bother to floss. Am I getting it right?

You mean the free kick? That wasn't entirely his fault, and his penalty save was pretty good.
