We'll win this but very frustrating at the moment. Very flat game, needs some intensity put into it. Luckily, I'm not a coach, so I will leave it down to Klopp to sort out things.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.

True.

Yet, they've still created the best chance.

What, a pass that deflected onto the post?

Flat is about the right word. Always saw this one as potentially bumpy with clement coming in for them.

We need to find some spark. I'm all for bringing sturridge and origi on, we have nothing to fear from them defensively speaking so let's properly go for it and give them lots to think about. Pile it on them, make them panic.

Any sort of scruffy arsed win will do us until mane comes back as we start to look ourselves again.
It's not like Origi or Sturridge have looked great recently either though.

All a bit meh really.
Hopefully see a change at half time and the crowd get behind us a bit more.
It's just too flat and predictable.
Never seen him playing I think. But looks like a good player.

Swansea lucky to not be losing, if we had put more shots on target we would be winning by one or two by now. I think we'll improve, they'll tire and we'll get a couple of goals in the second half.

0-0 at halftime but if we'd scored goals we'd be winning.

That's genius. You should be a manager. ;-)

Not sure what Hendo's done wrong but we do need more creativity in the middle. Can and especially Wijnaldum need to take more responsibility.
Did you miss the several wrong passes he made?

decisions in the final third not good enough, but if we make correct adjustments with the crowd behind the team, i believe we could nick the winning goal

That trio in midfield just doesn't work. Lallana needs to get back in there and take either of Wijnaldum or Can off. We don't need both of them on the pitch

Worrying that we look toothless no matter what side we put out. lacking pace in the side, I know it's difficult to break down a bus, even harder when there is no intensity to your play.

we've been lethargic. Apparently, the only way to frustrate this Liverpool team is to sit deep with 9 men on your own box and they'll be unable to find a way to unlock that defense.

Probably the most defensive display from an opposition since Moyes' boys at Anfield. Holy crap.

Hopefully things improve during the second half - maybe take a midfielder off for Sturridge/Origi? I don't think our current lineup is working against that deep defense.

Totally disagree we're playing against a parked bus. They're playing possession football and then dropping off when we get the ball. They're doing it well so far, but they'll tire. Regardless of tiring, it's giving us plenty of opportunities and we play much better against these teams than we do against those that sit deep with no ambition.

Couple of small tweaks, and we'll be laughing. Can has to come off and Lallana move to midfield to. At half time. Waiting would help Swansea.

Boring as hell game. A couple of half chance headers. Fabianski with zero saves to make.

Why is it just us that can't break down a parked bus.

I think we've played alright, it's  always difficult to break down a parked bus. I'd replace Can with Origi so that we can get Lallana in centre mid and a bit more pace up front.

Showed far too much respect to them by essentially playing three work horses in midfield. Atrocious selection.

Need to stop this shit, and go at them. Men in the box. Milner and Clyne need to get forward. What's the point in playing a holding midfielder if Clyne and Milner are hesistant to get forward?

No shot on target is horrific.

Clyne has been woeful. So limited when going forward. Henderson passing terrible. Wijnaldum may as well be on the bench.

Clyne is very one-footed, but he's solid in my opinion. I don't think he's been bad. He has had a LOT of the ball though and should probably do more with it. That lofted ball to him has been made sooooo many times, it's like a feature of the half

Bizarre decision to leave out a striker whilst pushing Lallana out of his best position to accommodate Can. Way too much respect being shown here. Without Mane we need to start with a striker, that should have been clear already.

We need to start with a striker period.

Our main attacker has scored one goal in his last ten and a half games now, its actually not that funny anymore. Hardly a surprise we're starting to struggle to score goals.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Not sure what Hendo's done wrong but we do need more creativity in the middle. Can and especially Wijnaldum need to take more responsibility.

The problem is they're playing 4-5-1 or 4-6-0  ... Henderson gets the ball and the rest of the team runs away from him. Often times we have a line of 5 near their 18 yard line. The only options are the full backs who get it but then end up lofting it in to no one. Our movement needs to be better... our commitment to creating overloads wide (through passing not crossing) needs to be better. We need more urgency and speed in our passing without losing patience.

Not a criticism of Emre Can but Origi's pace or Sturridge's skill and unpredictability would we welcome as it's too samey in the middle of the park.

They know if they swarm Coutinho when he gets it deep and track our runners they nullify us, we need that added threat either in behind or physical / aerial presence I feel.

We need to add something and be more dynamic. Lallana / Firmino is the key.

Credit to Swansea and their manager but we've seen this too many times before.

My message would be loosen up, take a few risks.

Clyne is clearly in acres of space everytime but we don't see enough 1-2's around the box or intricacy in front of their centre backs to create a space for a direct shot or slipped through ball.

Keep calm but fucking go for it, these are one off the worst sides in the league. We can't afford another Sunderland.

Come on Redmen!
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Some poor passing from Henderson, Can and Lallana.

Very pedestrian final 3rd but bus parking wankers aren't helping.

Would be nice to up the tempo and for the crowd to turn up.

Hate early kickoffs because the subdued atmosphere often seems to lead to a lethargic performance. I expect Klopp to make some adjustments and still fancy us to win, but I am concerned that our centre halves seem to be losing the aerial battle against Llorente, making us vulnerable to the long ball counter.

Commentator mentioned we are yet to win in the league without Mane, not surprising as it means we either have no pace in the front line, or we push Firmino out wide to accommodate Sturridge, or play Origi wide, or remove Lallana from midfield,  all of them massive compromises.
