For all the joking around, it should be noted that Glasgow, which is notoriously violent with sectarian undertones to go with it, is by some distance the most lethal city in the UK with 3.10 fatalities per 100k, IIRC the only city above 3. Fresnillo tops the list with over 200 per 100k, a killing rate comparable to London during the Blitz. You are 70 times more likely to be murdered in a quiet Mexican city than you are in the UK's most violent city.

I live in a small village in Switzerland.

Saw someone not pick up his dog's poo once. When I pulled him up about it he said it wasn't a poo, it was a piss, and he was right.

He had one of those dogs who did a piss like other dogs do a poo.

It is fortunate that 'confrontation' did not occur in Texas - else it would have quickly escalated into a gunfight with bystander children caught in the crossfire. Surely, though, a small price to pay for freedom.
would rather have a wank wearing a barb wire glove
If you're chasing thrills, try a bit of auto-asphyxiation with a poppers-soaked orange in your gob.

I was curious about this so went digging... the Wikipedia list lines up with what you said, but if you check the source... 1) it is some random site that doesn't link it's own source, and the figures they state don't match what Wikipedia has listed.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_by_homicide_rate

https://moneyinc.com/most-dangerous-cities-in-europe/

Also Belfast for some reason is listed as Northern Ireland not UK, so if that was the list you were going off you could easily have missed it, but it is listed as 3.3.

For Glasgow it says there were 32 murders in 2021. The latest stats I can see from Scot Gov for 2021/22 show there were 10 in Glasgow. So take that Wiki list with a huge pinch of salt.  ;D
