We made the perfect start, scored two excellent goals and then pissed it away with some ridiculously soft defending. We could easily have conceded 2 or 3 more if not for some excellent saves from Alisson.

Still all to play for but so frustrating to squander such a commanding position. The shithousery is going to be off the scale now they've got something to defend.

From complete control to complete disarray. We're having another Brentford in defense. I really hope Klopp gives them a bollocking at half time because that wasn't good enough after 19 minutes. If we don't pull our fingers out we're going to lose.

How the fuck is their first goal allowed to stand? They have a player in an offside position who literally jumps over the ball to stop Matip clearing it. Joke and the game completely changed from that point on.

Frustrating, we had it all under control. Jekyll and Hyde from Keita, brilliant goal then costs us 2. We need Fabinho in the middle I feel.

We've been horrific defensively at times this season, perhaps understandable given we have CB's shaking off rust and slightly adjusted the way we play in midfield but Alisson is way too busy way too often, hopefully we sort it out soon. As for this game get Fab on for Naby, both goals are a terrible look for him.

Their 3 forwards have been excellent, but it helps when they have acres of space to run into. We don't really have any control over the midfield, we're just passing it around the back while they stand off us.

Keita and Milner have been poor.

Fucking shambles defensively so we are. Could easily be 4-2 to them. Really don’t think hendo has the defensive instinct to play in the number 6 role, keita has been a disaster in midfield apart from his goal and really don’t think Milner can play more than a game a week nowadays.

We were excellent for 20 minutes.

They were excellent for the remaining 25. They could have svored more. On balance, 2-2 is a better score for us than them.
