So sad. Shook me up a bit this, he was part of the first team that I used to go and see week in week out. Always remember his only goal he scored.

RIP Gary. Top man.

Terrible news.  Never a good time to go but the first day of a new year makes it especially sad.

RIP Gary.

Im very very sad to hear this. Extremely saddened. I am so happy to have been able to wish Gary all the very best a few months ago when I met his son Fraser, as Gary was very poorly. I also had the pleasure to have been able to watch live nearly all of Gary's games for Liverpool in the late 80's, early 90's. He was a good defender and played whereever the Manager wanted him. Very versatile.
He will be missed... very nice person.
Rest in Peace, and sincere condolances for his family.

If my assistant had not signalled a goal, I would have given a penalty and sent off goalkeeper Patr Cheh. he beeped me to signal the foul. The noise from the crowd  stopped me hearing it, I have been involved at places like Barcelona, Ibrox, Old Trafford, Arsenal, but I've never in my life been involved in such an atmosphere. IT WAS INCREDIBLE
