Difference between Murray and Djokovic here unfortunately when playing Federer

Federer serving at 59% with 12 unforced errors. Federer hit only 11 unforced errors in the entire match against Murray.

Basically says it all about the match so far.

I agree his serving went to pot at the end. Obviously pressure has an impact.

A lot of that is down to the way Novak's supposedly defensive game forces Roger to commit. Andy doesn't do that as much.

Djokovic gets in his head in a way Murray just doesn't. He feels he has to perfect with every shot or it will just keep coming back at him and the pressure of that is telling.

There is some truth in that but I also think Roger played one of his best games ever against Murray. He just was so consistent throughout.

You are not going to battle down Djokovic in a rally he is far more the physical superior. Federer has to be risky and go for winners and shorten the points.

When Murray played Federer there weren't that many long rallies because Federer serve was so good but Murray never tested him in longer rallies, Novak always makes you hit one more shot, physically and mentally draining for his opponent
