RPLP European Cup Final second leg

BoRed (1) 8 V 8 (1) Salger

Congratulations to BoRed who wins the RPLP European Cup by a single point from Salger. 24-23 was the final overall score. Well played both  :wave

Thanks to all for playing. It's been an enjoyable season and competition to organise.

The anoying thing is people dropping out mid season though. Those that finished 4th/5th in the Championship and League One may still yet be promoted. The new sign up thread will open late July/early August, so we'll see what the craic is then.

Have a good summer, and thank fuck we're stress free of Liverpool for a couple of months  ;D :scarf

Final Scores and tables updated/

Premier league

Ankit, despite not leading at any point in the season, has came from behind to win the Premier League title on the final day scoring 28 points in the last 2 rounds and winning both head to heads. He wins by a single point from RivaGe in second, and a point further back is BoRed. Had either of those 2 won their head to head, it would have been them winning the league.
Lee-87 confirmed his own relegation by not posting in week 38, although with Ycuzz scoring 11, he'd have needed to score 17 against his no show opponent, Ollyfrom.tv, to get the 20 points required that would have kept him up at the expense of Olly.

Championship

RJH seals promotion in style by winning the Championship by a comfortable 9 points. WillG.LFC wins back to back promotions and will also be in the Premier League next season. The final promotion spot went right to the wire between gav91v and Gerry Attrick. gav91v takes it with a magnificent 13, to beat Gerry's 12, and take 3rd spot by a solitary point. If gav had scored 12, Gerry would have been going up by virtue of 'goals scored' as they'd have been level on points, but Gerry with a 283-282 advantage
sms1986 just falls short, and will be in League 1 next season with Mr Kipling and bobinhood

League 1

The most inevitable winner of all top scores in League One. It has been relentless from Skittle who wins by a massive 27 points. Joining him next season in the Championship will be LoveluCushionedHeader and Lawnmowerman. tommyLFC finishes 4th, just outside the automatic promotion spots. None of the rest of the league posted this week.

It's fair to say I haven't had much luck with head-to-heads all season. With most prediction points overall, 17-4-17 is very average. 25 goals against more than the champions. Looks like everyone always ups their game against me. ;)

What an end!! I had not been seeing the table until I saw it after GW 36. Damn. Never thought I could win it. Last few weeks turned out to be great.
