After a abit of help here please.  I'm one of these people that just don't get downloading stuff etc..

Got a basic bog standard MP3 Player here, how do I 'download' music onto it?

I honestly haven't got a clue.

Any help much appreciated.

I've had my 1GB mp3 player (creative zen) for about 5 years now. Lasted me ages. Was great for use in the gym and for running outside. Very cheap too.

I could probably use it for another couple of years but I've got over 80GBs of music on my computer and it's annoying having to delete music to fit more on to my mp3 player, so I'm looking at finding something with at least 60GBs of storage and one where I organise my music sensibly and all at once, without much trouble. I was looking at the Zune 80, which has alright reviews. Anyone recommend it?

No display at all !
No battery needed !
Survives the washing machine, I know for a fact !
And it's small too.

It might have survived the washing machine but a fire was a bit too much for it.
They are not made anymore but I'd love to get one again.
If you know anyone who's willing to sell his or hers, give me a PM, please !
I know there are newer things like it, but I want that one, without a display and small.

Creative Zen Stone, 1 Gb or more please

My iPod seems goosed so I'm looking for an alternative to listen to podcasts.
What are peoples experiences or opinions using mp3 players for podcasts.

I subscribe to quite a few podcasts - will I have any difficulties.
Any recommendations?

Cheers folks.

I just bought a Walkman(!), it's boss. Stuck a half terabyte card in it and loading it with FLACs. Does bluetooth, does wired, dinky and cute, but most importantly the sound is miles better than my blower can do

Helps I also put on software from an even higher model and it is working perfectly  ;D

Ta Tone, they're reasonably priced as well. Can you organise podcasts easily on them?

I don't really want to run round the park with my phone Claire, I'd rather something smaller.

Even when I'm doing the garden, I much prefer a small device.

As long as you don't need the Walkman itself to go online and grab podcasts (it can't - no Wifi), I'd not hesitate to recommend it!

I manage it by plugging it into my laptop (charger doubles as a USB cable) and it is browsable in Windows - then you can drag, drop, paste, whatever, the player won't care, it'll play it. If this process is acceptable to you, then go for it!

LOOOADS of audio options too. Plus the hack I installed puts back the FM radio  :D Love this thing. Tangible buttons on the side - it is touchscreen but reaching into my pocket to skip or pause without looking is boss

Cheers again Tone. The iPod is working ok since I changes the headphones but its cracked and won't last forever - so I have a decent option now.
