With this cup and being back in europe the season is safe and definitely and improvement over last season although the performances weren´t that convincing so far.

But this doesn´t matter now, we should be looking forward to being back in europe, playing twice a week is important for the players and listening to Comolli lately on the interest of big players wanna join the "Liverpool-project" there doesn´t seem to be any stagnation in improving the sqaud quality wise due to missing 4th again.

If we manage to bring in a couple of top players on top of this squad we will be coming pretty strong with the likes of Kuyt, Maxi and Bellamy definitely staying.
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

The great thing is we have no bad experience in wembley to overcome, so the lads should be full of confidence IF we get back. It should give us a psychological edge. It's one hurdle less for us to overcome.
