There's already a thread in SG for people to post their picks... how about we say that we post our picks both here & there? That way we can still post pretty pictures, which is by far the most important bit

I see we've covered the same positions with our first two picks, great minds and all that

Botafogo paying homage to the great Clarence Seedorf and going for some schexy Dutch football. 36m for De Jong is steep but that locks down one of my CM positions which is always important. There aren't too many good young CMs about.

Klipp's dropped out, I'll try to whip up a spreadsheet at some point during the day.

Great picks, mate. I was planning to pick one or the other for my second pick.

Definitely going to be interesting watching the different strategies in play. There's not one single approach which is necessarily right or wrong.

Just so it's clear to all, Sterling is now in some weird limbo where he's not available to be drafted. Making him available all of a sudden would be unfair on others who might have picked him by now. So he's off limits until after the draft. Of course, if any other managers want to join the draft - even at this late stage - then they could take on Sterling themselves.

Another important thing to note: you can only draft 3 players from each club. Not my rules. But SM itself won't let anyone make more than 3 deals with a club in one season. So just keep an eye on that yourselves when making picks. Once we're a few more rounds in, I'll be able to set up the GW for us to start making signings, which should help everyone keep track of where we are.
