Where players start positionally and where they end are almost always determined by the score, the tactics, and the game plan. The question underlying of your inquiry is how would my back 5 contain his front 4.
And had I known I would be playing against that particular front 4 -- I might have subbed on a marking back and tweaked the formation a bit to create a numbers advantage greater than +1.
However, as Betty says, these drafts have their favorites and rightfully so. But sometimes, this leads to "group think" that misses how different approaches might be effective in overcoming perceived dominance (Chelsea v Man City in ECL final is not a bad example).
