I like Boundless Power in the 1.45 and Ottoman Emperor would be my one against Hurricane Lane in the Leger.

Yep I’m with you on Boundless Power. Think the Fav will win the St Leger but did think about The Mediterranean ew though not sure it will appreciate the bit of rain they’ve had here

Backed Ottoman Emperor. Very strange ride and never got close.

Good day out at Doncaster. Managed 3 winners with Hollie Doyle getting the day off to a good start. Hurricane Lane was classy again, not sure he’s as good as Adayar but rare Godolphin have two this good at the same time, hope they both run in the Arc

Shame Boundless Power got collared. Ottoman Emperor ran a horrible race. Hurricane Lane the most classy winner for a while, some bad 'uns have won this race or got close in recent years because a mile 6 horse isn't fashionable at all when it comes to breeding. Hasn't completely lost it's lustre but it's without doubt the worst classic now, albeit I love the Leger meeting and Doncaster as a whole.

Can thoroughly recommend the day out, we had a great time albeit the winners helped! Although I was gutted about Boundless Power I did Hurricane Ivor as well but not for as much!
Good card at the Curragh today, the National Stakes is more interesting after Point Lonsdale form took a battering yesterday with Maritime Wings and Reach for the Moon getting beat

Fuck sake big blow before the jumps seasons really got started. Monkfish out for the season with a tendon injury. Although he finished the season on a bit of an iffy run, he looked a good gold cup prospect in what looks an open year at this stage.

Min and Altior both been retired as well

Sometimes bad ground leads to this kind of upset, although it was followed home by the favoured horses. Front 4 in the market in the first 6. But yep bit unsatisfactory that

Cesarewitch tomorrow. Just the 33 runners to go at.

That said, Goobinator looks to have a good ew chance at a good price. 22/1 or so. Most bookies paying at least first 6 places.

Quite like Burning Victory, one of the few times I’ve found the winner was a previous Triumph winner as well Detroit City. Is about time Mullins shared it again though

Coroebus or Native Trail for the Guineas?

Think by the time next May comes around Coroebus could be the one, looks to only just see the mile out now but will be stronger next year, travels so well and change of gear is instant whereas I think Native Trail may be better over slightly further next year

Coroebus looks so babyish still and he’s winning group races, so when he grows up he’s going to be frightening I think. Appleby and Godolphin are ruling things at this minute in time. Bin Suroor is little more than a bit part character now.

Good first test over fences for my early RSA (or whatever it’s called now) fancy, Bravemansgame today in the 1:30 at Newton Abbot against 2 experienced and decent level performers in Fusil Raffles and The Big Breakaway.

Was happy enough with that.

Won well enough but whether he’d have it all his own way from the front at Cheltenham is open to question. Be nice to see PN with a good festival horse again though.

Happy enough with that for a first go over fences. Was getting nearly a stone from both, but jumped very well and won easily. Not sure he has to go from the front and much tougher tests ahead but think he’ll take fairly high rank amongst the novice chasers around 2.5 to 3 miles

The last 2 were very odd. The first one looked very headstrong, but one was down at the start and looked fine to the eye.

paddy power had a special I was on, 4 winners or more for him at 5/1

From 8 races he was favourite in about 6 and 2nd favourite in another. The three non runners killed it. Though fair play pp returned the bet money

Eldar Eldarov won at Notts today. Keep him in your trackers because he won in the style of a very, very good one. By Dubawi and he just absolutely hosed up on debut.

Looking forward to a few of the clashes on Champions Day tomorrow which thankfully looks like being run on half decent ground for a change.

The QEII in particular looks a belter. Be nice to see Stradivarius get one final victory, on this better ground he might just be able to do it.

Baaeed has looked a rocket in all 3 starts so far and won in facile style today against some decent performers, including One Ruler. Keep him on side because he’s improving rapidly and has a big group race in him.

Even blind mice find cheese occasionally  :D I think he could be the best miler since Kingman. He’s just a fantastic horse.

We know Gosden likes to send nice types to Newcastle; well there's another one for the notebook. Antarah. Sea The Stars colt absolutely pissed in first time out over a mile tonight against a decent 85 rated yardstick that had a few runs on it's side.

Definitely one to keep an eye on for next season. Meanwhile a couple of the big guns potentially out this weekend at Down Royal with Minella Indo and Envoi Allen in contention to run

Not checked my Paddy Power account in about a year, went in today and had £2 in it so stuck it on two horses each way and they both won, had £2 free bet and won on the too. £20 up :)
