I left a game at half-time once.

(Mind you, it was Wimbledon v Everton.)

No sympathy for those involved (clearly shown on live TV) who left early.  Pillocks.

A wonder goal, worthy of winning any game, and great work from Heskey to make it for Smicer from absolutely nothing.

Could be priceless.

People that leave a game early really are a complete mystery to me... I'm more likely to understand Chaos Theory.  I mean how can missing some traffic EVER compare to the last few minutes of a game at Anfield?

:lickin: to the lot of them anyway and I hope they learn.

Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple - Bill Shankly.

Erm... that was supposed to be a kind of "stick my tongue out at them" in a very childish kind of ner ner-na ner na way. But on second thoughts, I'll give it a:

 :wanker:

Because they piss me off big time. Not only are they not supporting when the team needs them most but they're also pissing everyone else off [Centenary and Main Stand especially] walking infront of them to get out of the ground.

;D

As I travelled home I guessed this thread would be here and you have'nt disappointed me. Loads left early around me , and I was wondering how they felt when the roar went up.

I had to queue for B.L. tickets after the game.I joined the back of a long line, so guess people early left to get to the front.

I know who was happiest in that queue! Lets hope there are more last minute goals to come, preferably when we are already 2 up! ;D ;D

Barring the obvious it's never nice to see fans leaving early. You'll excuse me for using examples irrelevant to Anfield but other sporting occassions I've been too people have left early and it sort of dampens the spirits somewhat, especially when the team you've come to support are having a hard time of it and like some of you have said, you can miss something special, which you deserve if you do.
