Judging from the detail just released, it looks like the 5k free ones are actually included in the 20,000.
not the way I read it, 20k each club, 10k free split between the 2 and 2k for the UEFA ballot, equals 52k

Club - 20k
Club - 20k
Uefa Ballot - 12k
=52k

12,000 tickets are being offered for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com.

Ten thousand of the tickets reserved for the fans of the two teams will be offered for free to reward the lifeblood of the game for their loyal support during the pandemic.

It does.....

A total of 52,000 tickets out of 75,000 (the stadium’s capacity for the final) are available for fans and the general public to purchase. The two teams that reach the final will receive 20,000 each, while 12,000 tickets are being offered for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com.

Ten thousand of the tickets reserved for the fans of the two teams will be offered for free to reward the lifeblood of the game for their loyal support during the pandemic. The ticket sale and allocation process for the tickets reserved for the fans of the finalists will be organised by the clubs involved, including the allocation of the free tickets.

And if I'm right the 20,000 for the teams will include some that will be given to sponsors, PRH etc? So we're really looking at even less than that.

Looks like the 5k free ones will basically be enough for those who don't need the ballot? (assuming they use Roma/Barca/similar)

So that's 12,000, take away maybe 4000 in the guaranteed sale and that leaves maybe 8,000 for the ballot.

30,500 registered for the Madrid ballot, and can't see it being less when you can drive there...

True, but will an even closer/more sellable location make even more PRH/sponsors take up tickets?

Than Madrid?

Who was taking up their ticket for that - or giving to a mate - based on location?

Well it was a 1 in 4.6 chance in the ballot in 2019 and 30,500 entered. Which means there were about 6,600 in the ballot (I think).

Potentially 3500 more seats this time, but how many of those wil make it to the ballot...

I think we’ll have a few better chance if the club stops letting people put F&F details down on chartered flights they run. You had that option for Madrid. If the person eligible can’t go, watch it on tv and let those who have attended all the matches go

I don’t think the club has an airline as a partner. They could always get hold of a fleet of MGs to drive everyone down

35k to anybody but the two finalists is a joke, there’s no reason that any other fans worldwide should be able to get tickets for this or so many to sponsors and corporate suits. Even the FA aren’t this bad for Wembley. Must be the biggest touted games worldwide UEFA finals, that’s all that will happen to that 35k.

do You know exactly how many PRH there are ?

let this sink in there's more Hospitality STH been added to the mix with the new Main Stand alone

yet in the meantime PRH goes down every year

Yeah the main stand is one of the reasons for almost dropping off the ladder in the ACS with more people guaranteed. Wait until the Annie road is expanded, even less chance of a ticket. Swings and roundabouts i guess

People not on the ladder will disagree of course because it makes it a closed shop but with the annie rd and more seats I hope they carry on with this all games from the current season plus x amount from the season before, them final ballots are bad enough but with an extra 7,000 it'll get rediculous.

I might be wrong but when I looked you had to book a minimum number of tickets for those. regardless, ridiculous for 90 minutes of football.

i believe there's quite a lot more with all home games this season than before due to lots of corporate/hospo returns etc.

one of the sales requirements included one CL game from 19/20 which might be controversial but might be the fairest thing to include to cut down the numbers a little, although will piss people off. personally i'm still an advocate of going across multiple seasons but probably will never happen.

Yeah I think the extra 3500 will be offset somewhat by those extra tickets. I've got no problem with everyone being included really, even though it likely means another ballot I won't win. I think everyone who's been to all the homes this season should get a go at it. The real issue is the allocations but they aren't going to change.

The club's system is fair enough for me except people being able to pass on their final ticket it should just move down the list.

unverified claim that someone in the ticket office called this lad and said Euro aways would count for the final. which goes against what they've said all season. not to mention plenty would've bought on other peoples' cards to guarantee the aways again even if the credits didn't count.

In reality the vast majority of people who would be guaranteed with 18/19 or 19/20 will have at least one away from this year on their own cards so even if they do count them the only people who would be affected would be people who didn't wanna travel, not sure why they should be accommodated all of a sudden

even though credits didn't count plenty (me included) bought their euro aways via a mate just because the drops to all members were uncertain. if we make it i doubt they'll go against their selling notices, but i can imagine there may be an uproar. would make a lot more sense if they just counted Villarreal.

uproar from who though? The point of them not counting was so people didn't have to travel, but now they can travel for the final using their 2018/19 aways? Doesn't make sense. They also can see who has what credits and all the numbers
