Warren Beatty.

Recently saw him in McCabe and Mrs Miller. What a beautiful and subtle performance. Not many actors from that era could have captured that role any better.

Sam Rockwell has won an Oscar (and was also nominated for another film), but I don't think he gets anywhere near the acclaim, or the roles, that he should.  Personally I think he's one of the best actors working today, he's been the best thing about some poor films.

A Weird one is Sylvester Stallone, people think he's some dumb lunkhead, but he's phenomenal in the first Rocky and just as good in Copland.

Yeah Gilgun is a great actor, again like Goggins, he can do dramatic really well but has serious natural charisma and comic timing as well.

Didnt like Preacher much, but he was very good. Misfits as well, kept it afloat after Robert Sheehan left.

Ordinary People and even though they were small roles I loved him in JFK and Backdraft.

Definitely. His success as Partridge has almost clouded his reputation as an incredible actor. His performance as Stan Laurel in Stan & Ollie was nothing short of breathtaking.
