Those were all OK chances before Firmino was introduced, but the way I see it, they were not chances you would bet your entire season on.
We needed to create better chances that is something we can control with our overall talent across the squad.
Yes I tend to agree. When you are a good side, every game will have 'decent' chances that don't go in; when you lose those tend to be pointed at as evidence that you could have won or got (more) goals, if only they had all gone in, when really they are more part of the background, something all games have before the really meaningful chances are counted.
I'd say only the Mo chance at the end really counts as a genuine meaningful missed opportunity. The others were just par for the course.
