I like him a lot.

He doesn't do anything outrageous to have people drooling, just keeps things simple in the middle of the park and allows us to play.

When I watch him he reminds me of Christian Poulsen.

;D Classic. Says it all really.

Only Katie Price has half a brain cell more..  ;)

Is that on the 42CC left or right side mate?

He's been a right winger most of the season...

So, he's second top scorer of our wingers, with 3 times as many assists as all our other 'wingers' combined.

But except, he shouldn't be a winger, should he?  And your next point is...?

He is not a goal threat and that is extremely worrying.

I like the lad and hope he goes on to great things, but at the moment he's just a decent young footballer.

hear hear mate.adam is the least of our problems

Crap. Adam is a huge problem. He's been utter shite once again today. As for Henderson, unfortunately I don't see any potential there apart from his so called engine, and that's not enough. Doesn't take any responsibility and those saying he will be our future captain and a box to box player, compare him to Gerard at the same age. He just hasn't got it.

Thats seriously harsh, and bang incorrect mate.

I like your posts, to me you get the balance right between being a blind supporter, and someone who tries to point out faults as you see them.

Jordan Henderson is a proper footballer. He will get better and better with more coaching, and better players around him.

Look, I ain't no superfan. It's my opinion that Adam is really not a player, nor is Carroll.  But Downing and Henderson with the right environment can go on to become very strong assetts.

I think he offers more as a central midfielder now then Gerrard does.

Agree that Adam offers nothing.

Disagree about Henderson.

He is a quality player when used correctly, and with other decent outlets has the chance to become a great for us.

i think, that of all the games he's played in this season had it been in the middle(and nowhere near the right wing) throughout i think we would be seeing a different player now.

maybe he has struggled with the inconsistencies of playing in the middle 1 week then on the wing the next, maybe he just needs some stability in 1 position?

Hope I'm wrong but I just don't see what he's going to offer us to become a great. When you say greats, I think of Kenny, Digger, Souness, Gerrard etc. and they all had very special attributes. I just don't see Jordan having any special attribute at all, really. He looks a very very ordinary player who has played 34 games now without really impressing me once. You can obviously see something that I don't and I'd love to know what it is.

What you mean to say is that he is not Charlie Adam?

Give him a chance to play in his actual position. Push Adam out wide right and see how he gets on, same with Spearing and Lucas.
