I wish ESPN or NBC would get the rights for champions league/Europa. Both stations would do a far better job with it!

ESPN was always pretty bad in my opinion.  NBC set the standard for Premier League broadcasts but there pre-game shows have turned a bit shit this year.  TNT has the contract until 2021 so we are stuck with them for at least the next two years.  I won't be surprised one bit if they put more games on their app next year and less on the actual TNT channel.

Saturday June 1st
Champions League Final
Spurs v Liverpool
3:00 PM Eastern
TNT

I believe at least 1 hour of pre-match buildup as well. Might be more.

DAZN really matter?

In rural areas with poor  internet speeds, their noted buffering issues will be a problem. They should have split TV and online rights

Sorry, "DAZN," play on "doesn't," not nearly as amusing as I thought... :D

OK, so I'm THAT dickhead who decided to get tickets to see the Anthony Joshua fight in New York for me and the girlfriend, to then discover it is the same day as the Final, so instead of being in Madrid I will be bar hunting for somewhere suitable to watch the final - except, all the LFC ones are sold out, and Carraghers for example if first come first served at 06.30 in the morning and is $50 entry pp

So, my question is, can anyone recommend a decent place in Manhattan that isn't going to charge me an arm and a leg and won't have to queue up at some ridiculous time in the morning just to get in the bloody place!!

My concern is that I get stuck watching it somewhere where there a shed load of Spurs fans. That will not be good

If you would have posted this a tad earlier I could have gotten you a spot at Carraghers [reserved and all].

Most places will be expensive at this point mate.

I wouldn't worry about there being loads of Spurs fans. I had some tickets reserved for me but didn't book flights or hotels just in case!

I think there are quite a few people in the same boat as you!

Why the fear of Spurs fans being there? If you are going to a neutral venue, surely they would still be outnumbered by Liverpool fans? They aren't that massively followed over here.

Your best bet is to find out where 'their' pubs are in NYC and avoid those ones.

Doubt any of the others will end up being majority Spurs fans without there also being a load of Liverpool fans too.

Check your PM.

You're not going to find alot of Spurs fans, even if you run into them, there will be more Liverpool lads, NYC is filled with Reds, and Carragher's and the Boot Room can't fit them all in for this  ;D

I will be in New York at that time as well. I was hoping to line up to get in to a reds pub, but apparently there are tickets?
Where should I go? And if there are any pubs left that I can still buy tickets, where can I get them?
I have never been to New York and I don't want to miss out on the game. Any advice would help, thanks.

All the Red pubs are sold out booked out, but there plenty of other pubs who will be showing the game in Manhattan. Try Legends near the Empire State Building, try the Irish Pub near timesquare as well.

Not sure why it seems so difficult to find a place in NYC...both LFCNY (home at 11th Street) and NYKopites (home at Carra's) have posted lists of overflow bars that shouldn't be charging.

From LFCNY:
Manhattan:
The Grafton – Open time 10:00am – Some reserved seating – The rest is first come, first served

Mad River – Open time 11:00am – No reservations – first come, first served

Brooklyn:
The Monro – Open time 10:00am – No reservations – Over 21 only

Queens:
The Shillelagh Tavern – Open time 11:00am – No reservations – free buffet and kids welcome

New Jersey
Nottingham Tavern – Open 12:00pm – no reservations – Free catered lunch – Happy Hour pricing all day until the final whistles

Cottage Bar – Open 12:00pm – no reservations – Full menu available with drink specials

Westchester/The Bronx:
Mickey Spillane’s (Our newest bar) – Open time 11:00am – Beer Bucket specials and Shirt giveaways

Long Island
Prost Bar and Grill – Open time 10:00am – no reservations – $6 Carlsbergs and $5 Warsteiners

To accomodate those of you who we can’t squeeze into the 11th Street, the following bars will all be servicing Liverpool fans on the day.  All have free entry:
Spotted Owl:
211 Avenue A, New York, NY 10009- Open at Noon

Drop Off Service NYC
211 Avenue A, New York, NY 10009- Open at Noon

(Yes I know we’ve listed the same address, this is not a typo)

The Horsebox
218 Avenue A, New York, NY 10009- Open at Noon

O’Hanlon’s:
349 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003- Open at Noon.  This is the home of Arsenals NYC supporters club.  They are welcoming in BOTH sets of fans, so, if you want to banter with Spurs fans, this is a place that might happen.

Lower East Side:
Donnybrook:
35 Clinton St, New York, NY 10002- Open at Noon

Lucky Jack’s
129 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002- Open at Noon

From Carragher's twitter:
All open at 11
🍾Tír Na Nóg Irish Bar & Grill-
315 West 39th Street
🍷The Tailor Public House -
505 8th Avenue
🍺Rattle N Hum-
306 West 39th Street
🍻The Playwright-
27 West 35th Street

I have just moved house and don't have a cable connection but do have a god internet connection

I ended up downloading the B/R app on my apple TV and only pad $3 each for the Europa League game and the Champions League final.

I was quite impressed how easy it was really.

Will see next season how many Liverpool games they have.

Depressed there isn't an update from 4Pool in here the day or two after a game.

Ah well, guess I'll just keep re-watching the final to hold me over until the friendlies kick off.

Now, now, now lads and lasses...

LFC have not finalized their preseason fixtures. We know they will start in the UK--those haven't been announced.

First confirmed fixture is Borussia Dortmund July 20th.

When it gets closer and tv coverage confirmed for the July preseason fixtures I will update.

In the mean time...

Next seasons Premier League fixtures come out 09:00 BST ( 4 am Eastern) on Thursday 13 June.  :wave

All preseason matches will be on LFCTVGO, for those who subscribe, as I do.  8)

Will update as the matches get closer and tv channels are confirmed. I expect at least the matches in the USA to be broadcast.

Every match will be free to watch with the exception of July 19 against Borussia Dortmund and July 24 against Sporting CP. Full replays of each match will also be available to watch on B/R Live, usually within the same day.
