Not sure why it seems so difficult to find a place in NYC...both LFCNY (home at 11th Street) and NYKopites (home at Carra's) have posted lists of overflow bars that shouldn't be charging.

Brooklyn:
The Monro – Open time 10:00am – No reservations – Over 21 only
Queens:
The Shillelagh Tavern – Open time 11:00am – No reservations – free buffet and kids welcome
New Jersey
Nottingham Tavern – Open 12:00pm – no reservations – Free catered lunch – Happy Hour pricing all day until the final whistles
Cottage Bar – Open 12:00pm – no reservations – Full menu available with drink specials
Westchester/The Bronx:
Mickey Spillane’s (Our newest bar) – Open time 11:00am – Beer Bucket specials and Shirt giveaways
Long Island
Prost Bar and Grill – Open time 10:00am – no reservations – $6 Carlsbergs and $5 Warsteiners
