8 Bells was open last season, but inside only - Anyone standing outside was getting moved on (at least they were when we arrived at about 18.30)

Didn't rate it last season to be honest, was a decent one over the Thames (apparently)

Do you remember the name of the one over the Thames? - Hopefully coming in via Putney (South West Trains) so should be quite nearby.

Not too sure of it as I didn't go, I stayed the ground side of the river.

Anyone know if the 8 Bells will be open this year?

Would have thought so with it being a evening kick off.

Also, how long is the walk from Putney Railway Station (not Underground). Google maps says 29 minutes yet I read it's about 20 on here.

From Putney station to the 8 bells?

about 10 mins.

5 minute walk down the high street, 5 min walk over the bridge and youre there..

google must have quoted 29 mins for somebody on crutches.

Had a look at the ticket page a while ago and remember it saying ticket infomation for home games are usually released 6 weeks beforehand so it should be the week after next.

It has not sold out mate.  Your right that it is only open to STH's for the time being however the likelihood of it going on general sale is slim.  You'll probably need a purchase history with them to get the remaining few after the initial sales should they not sell out.

I was able to book 3 seats for this one in the P4 block in the Putney end, just the block next to ours!

Is there somebody from here who has done the same?

Last season for the Chelsea game we went to 8 Bells with kids and it was fine, we sat outside. But it was rammed for Fulham so not sure if it will be too busy for the lad.

There are a fair few pubs on the south side of the river that I've seen kids in before and should be quieter than the Eight Bells. The Jolly Gardeners and the Coat & Badge are only a minute or so from the bridge (just off Putney High Street), and the Duke's Head is a good spot for drinking on the river if the weather's good.

Just noticed Fulham home tickets re-sell for only around £30. Wondering whether to just sit in the home stand on Wednesday. Any thoughts?

Rainbow flick - I sat in the home stand last year and it was a disaster.  I saw a Red kicked out for cheering when we scored, he was being abused and punched on his way out.

I think there are still tickets left in the Putney "neutral" end for £55 - I'd get one of those.

So I doubt many will even see let alone reply but....

Fulham away, “neutral end”, looks like from selling info for Spurs game of there’s, you need purchase history to buy tickets.

So worth purchasing some shite game to get purchase history or how has it worked in years gone by?

Thanks for any info/help 👌

This is a good idea actually. Would be nice to get some more info on this. Looks like you can get tickets to Fulham v Oldham as little as £1, would that mean you have a purchase history and then have priority when it comes to the Liverpool game? We could end up filling the whole Putney stand  ;)

Probably not relevant for a couple of years seeing as they’re going down this season but you need to get to the eight bells early to get in before the match. We were there about 11.15am, two hours before kick off and they’d already stopped letting people in. We went in after the match and could see why it fills up quickly, you can hardly swing a cat in it.

Beforehand we ended up in The Rocket just on the other side of the river. Decent size with plenty of home and away fans without any bother, although they didn’t start serving alcohol until 12pm. The ground is about a 15 minute walk from there.
