Where are you watching the red men?
« on: May 17, 2016, 06:44:44 pm »
Hands up.

I`m thinking of the Camp and Furnace but concerned it`s going to be difficult to get in there if were not down there handy enough, I`ve been told there`s a big screen at Liverpool One (not entirely sure on that, someone mentioned it today) where the ice rink is at Chrimbo but I don`t fancy that, would rather be in a boozer somewhere.

Where are you watching it and what`s the back up if you can`t get into your preferred watering hoop?

Camp and furnace is my choice. If I'm not in there I'll have to see where my mates head to

I'd like some suggestions please, we'll be arriving in town at around 7pm (late, I know). Would like somewhere with a good atmosphere where we could sing and shout and be able to order drinks and see the telly. Cheers.

Over in the US, sitting in a room in an apartment with my two cats.
When something good happens and I get excited, the cats look at me weird, wondering why I'm making so much noise.

Clearly I lead a very exciting life.

I'll be watching it in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with a nice cup of tea lol.

TV will be loud and I will be screaming the boys on, I know I can be the difference ha ha

Hopefully at the local Liverpool supporters' pub here in Vancouver if I get time off work (yes I know, I've left it far too late to ask).

Would normally try for a LFC-NY  Pub in Manhattan, but work issues won't allow me to get there as early as I'd need to so I could get in.  Will watch at PROST, an LFCNY pub on Long Island (closer to work)  It's strange but somehow appropriate to be watching THIS Final at a German Pub/Restaurant.

Pub. Not usually keen on pub for games. Poor TV picture and too many dickheads who are suddenly super fans. Been to a few Euro home ties this year with people im going to pub with so I'm not changing a winning formula (apart from not actually being in the stadium!)

King and Queen , Brighton . Should be rocking - plenty of Reds, quite a few Scousers and Seville fans too hopefully,  being as Brighton has a lot of Spanish students/workers.

Two big screens and fairly easy to get served at the bar - big beer garden too. Always some singing and can get pretty mad when we score/win . :D

Beach party with some cans after that when/if we win , as happened after Istanbul and when Spain won the Euro and World Cup !

Bit quiet here as it was the first match of the season , people still on holiday and students not in Brighton - usually can't move !

Had to do that for the Spurs match in March - had to watch it in the Northern Quarter before a gig, not exactly enjoyable.  ;D

Should be better on Oxford Road/Fallowfield or wherever you are .

Of course, but timings mean we'd spend most of the first half on the train, then trying to get in somewhere.

I work in India and in night shift. So obviously told my Manager that I will be on leave tonight. Promised my team, a team dinner irrespective of the outcome. So I will be at home and watching it in the comfort of the bean bag. Would like to have some food by the side too, a heavish dinner before match time followed by some Ice Cream while savouring the game. Tomorrow will be a cheat day on food. In spite of me being a mediocre spouse at best, my wife has always been quite considerate when it came to Liverpool Football games during weekend times and would align her own plans and schedule accordingly.

Looking forward to my first big final as a truly converted Red. First was Istanbul and I confess I slept after they were up 2-0 but ever-since gave my undivided attention to all the finals from the 2006 FA CUP.
