Not many other players have scored more against Liverpool in the Premier League era than Jamie Carragher. His finishing skills are much underrated.

Haha, that's true - he was prolific at times!

Quote
That said, didn't Skrtel once score something like 7 against the opposition and 3 against us in the same season? IIRC in one game he gave us the lead and then equalised for the opposition.

He liked to make it a challenge!

We don't score many own-goals these days, as we're a lot more assured at the back and there's less panic and chaos that inevitably leads to own goals at times.

Not going to pretend like I know much about this lad, but with our record of picking out amazing talent in recent years it gets me very excited whenever we here about these young players coming in 'on the cheap'. Great that we have someone who can cover for Robbo now as well - Milner did a job but he's not going to be around for too much longer.

Strengths of tsimikas : speed, crossing, not a bad dribbler aswell

Weaknesses : finishing, sometimes leaves position because he tends to attack a lot.

In summary he is a better player than robertson was when he came from hull, Iam sure he will flourish under klopps management, and be sure he will fight for the first team spot which is great for robertson as well

Never heard of the lad to be honest but a few youtube videos have got me excited. Looks good going forward, nice consistent crossing of his.

What is he like defensively? I remember Moreno was a terrible ball watcher at the back, used to always get caught out. If he's okay at the back then Robertson has some real competition.

But, but, ... a condition of employment, familiarly known as Riise's Rule, from when it was first introduced into contracts at LFC, couldn't be clearer ... "only sinistral unidexters shall be deployed at left-back". KT is therefore obviously destined to play in midfield, alongside TAA. José Enrique flouted the rule from time to time in the 2012-2013 season, and hardly featured after that.

I was thinking the same ! How could we have been in for him.....unless a smokescreen ?

I'd guess we saw him as a young left back with loads of pace, a good attitude and a high ceiling but a long way from being the finished article - hence the 10m we thought he was worth.

Yep i saw a few videos and he seems to be ok using his right when needed (one video showed a very good strike from outside the box with his right.. shame didnt go in). Quick, aggressive, loves going forward on some mazy runs, decent in tackle. Like others mentioned, not sure he will get that amount of time to put in a cross in epl... although his crossing seems consistent.Would get a fair more assists with us judging how poorly the heading of his teammates in some videos.
