Literally, they did the hard part, all they had to do was do the double over the Pot 4 team. They've bottled qualification from the group in spectacular fashion.

Such a defensive line-up. Yet they can’t defend, because they have absolutely shit defenders. And the £80 mill man is the worst of the lot. Wan Bissaka ran him a close 2nd tonight though. Awful first half especially. No wonder they targetted him.

I don't think that is entirely fair on ole, while he's crap that it was even needed in the first place, he deserves some credit for not letting his ego get in the way of making a sub.

With Pochettino biding his time for one of the imminent big two Spanish vacancies, realistically who are they going to be left with? Tuchel? Allegri? Neither will make much difference, their problems go much deeper.

Seriously, though, either one of Atalanta and Ajax will do. Then there's Roma, Leverkusen, Rangers, Benfica, Napoli, Sociedad, Milan, Villarreal, Spurs, Hoffenheim. Though I'd personally love them to be knocked out by Molde.
