Magic of Light is 1lb higher than when second to Tiger Roll. If she runs to that mark again she’ll be bang in there.

Anibale Fly has excellent course form off way higher marks. Reckon Martin has been protecting his mark and he could go well if they ride him to win.

I've done Minella Times e/w, just figured because Blackmore had a good Cheltenham festival she might round it off with this and it'd make a good story. Also done taking risks which I managed to get 33/1 for earlier in the week and it's now 14/1. Done Yala Enki also but that's gone the other way from 33/1 to 50/1.

Good luck everyone. Hopefully all the horses get round safely

Lovely horse him. Surprised to see Ballyadam so short in the betting. Can't go wrong on that skybet money back as cash if your horse finishes second or third. Don't think I've lost money on it yet.

Easy for Shishkin but I did funambule Sivola ew so happy enough. Only 6 so hopefully more to come from that horse

I need Yala Enki for a treble that I put on weeks ago.

65/1 I think it is.

Was indeed, had that 4-5 place inside line clear view whole way around, great position. Thought went bit early as didn't have the pace to kick on and thought gonna idle in front, but did enough.

Only time I bet, so I've just wasted £20 on Burrows Saint to win 9/1 and Mister Malarky EW 14/1. Made a cool £30 back in 2019, any extra beer tokens will do me.

I will now leave the thread to the experts ;D

:lmao

My fella had Minella Times so we're £110 up at least ;D Or £90, when you subtract my disaster. Few beer tokens for Monday at least!

My Drogo a serious horse. Only thing to take out of that festival moving forward. Big horse, potentially the Skelton's first Gold Cup horse?

Yeah he looked great. Always had something in reserve.

I thought Belfast Banter was another though that impressed, up in weight and grade since Cheltenham and he just seemed to canter up to the front and when asked for a response at the last fence was able to give one.  Just looking at his old results and seems Dan Skelton trained that horse but then Peter Fahey since the end of 2019

Ayr national today. Anyone having a bet?

Done a lucky 15 with King D'Argent, Calico, Allmankind & Mighty Thunder. Did fancy Mighty Thunder each way as it was 14/1 yesterday but shortened to 17/2 so can't be arsed now unless it drifts back out. Also done Innisfreelad e/w in the 13.50 and Wetlands to win in the 16.10

Skybet are also doing Money back as cash if your horse finishes 2 or 3rd in the 13.00 at Newbury so done Snow Lantern in that.

Envoi Allen v Monkfish today. What a prospect. I’m not sure Monkfish has enough toe to beat him but Envoi does have to at least stand up for that to happen.

Was coming in here to post about the exact same thing.

I think it'll be a great battle, very hard to call, but I just have Monkfish coming out on top. Whatever happens, should be a great spectacle with two serious animals on show.

Colreevy no mug, but really hope these two pull clear and go at it. Hopefully just the start of next seasons biggest rivalry

Very interested to see how Allaho gets on over 2 miles as well, after his Vautour-esque run at Cheltenham

Clearly Chacun doesn’t like the hill at Cheltenham, think 2m is his absolute limit, but that was a brilliant performance.

Shades of Denman v Kauto when Imperial Commander won the gold cup. Colreevy’s very good but Monkfish probably not at his best again, maybe he hasn’t enjoyed the better ground the last two runs.

Envoi Allen seems to have lost his way disappointingly. Probably too soon to write him off but you can questionhis last 3 runs so it isn’t just a one off

Not the race we were hoping for really. Think the mistake really took it out of Monkfish, he was never going to have the gears to make up for that over the distance.

Some way for Colreevy to bow out.

Yep, mad how being in foal doesn’t hinder them. Just seen someone speculating that the real Envoi Allen is in hiding at Elliott’s still and they’ve sent Henry the wrong horse 🤣

Yeah it beggars belief really. She's in foal to Walk In The Park, who seems to be the new go to stallion, so that should be a nice foal. Haha with every passing race you'd start to believe it more and more.

Maybe he’s just not as good as we suspected. He racked up a lot of wins in small runner affairs and if we’re honest last years novices were an average crop. He’s definitely got something to prove now he’ll be stepping into open company.

Do you think they’ll go that far with him (assume you mean Kilcruit), I’d have thought Ballymore, but he’s got a bit of speed too
