Hope Bobby only plays the first half. Fab is on the bench. 20 mins max for him should be enough.  ::)

They're losing, you can forget about that.

The sweat marks on Tite's shirt tells you all you need to know about how he views this game.

Tite's a complete nonce. 75 minutes in these sweltering conditions and not a single substitution yet.

They lost 1-0 to Peru with Ederson not exactly covering himself in glory for the goal. Alisson won't be worried. Firmino started and played 63 mins and Fabinho came off the bench on 64 mins.

cheers - as Expected I imagine in terms of minutes for both. Bobby is going to need a good rest in League cup week.

Their national coaches tend to have very short shelf life and winning is the only way to keep their job. Hence they tend to flog their best players to death

Helps explain why they can't sustain results, their players burn out and they lose their job.

Alisson won't be playing and there's a week between the Nigeria game and our first match after the international break (on the 20th) as we don't play until the Sunday that weekend. As long as we don't get Bobby, Sadio (in the first game) or Fabinho injured, it should be fine.

Firmino, Sane and Fabinho need to tell them to fuck off. Fortunately it's easier for Allison. Brazil have been amenable to this in the past, with Ederson and Fernandinho.

City are ruthless, we can maybe be a bit of a pushover. We got badly screwed over with Keita.

Brazil are just an absolute joke. 2018 World Cup. 2019 Copa America. 2020 Copa America. Yet they still demand the players travel around the world for friendlies every international break. How do they expect players to be fresh for all these summer tournaments?

The news that Mane and Mo wouldn't be playing for their countries was before these fixtures were announced, but it still won't affect us all that much as it's their only match in October that he can play in (the African Nations Championship only allows players who play in their home countries to participate). The game against Brazil is ten days before we next play in the league.

Quote
Naby Keita has been omitted from Guinea’s final squad for the October break, with new manager Didier Six taking a sensible approach to his fitness.

Keita has made just one start for Liverpool so far this season, with a hip injury keeping him out for six weeks and ruling him out of seven games.

The 24-year-old is slowly working his way back to full fitness, with Jurgen Klopp resting him for the 1-0 win at Sheffield United in order to train separately at Melwood.

But his comeback is building momentum, and the hope will be that Keita can hit top form after a stop-start spell with the Reds since his £52.75 million move from RB Leipzig in 2018.

Initially named in Six’s first squad since taking over as Guinea manager, the No. 8 has now been left out for the upcoming friendlies against Comoros in France (Oct 12) and Chile in Spain (Oct 15).

“I would like Naby Keita to rest for these two matches,” Six told reporters on Friday.

“The two friendly matches are tough, especially against Chile, so I decided to change my selection.

“In November we will have qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, and until then I would like Keita to recover and be at 100 percent of his level.

“However, I will ask him to come to some meetings in Paris, which is the same as in the case of captain Ibrahima Traore, who is injured.”

This is a welcome change for Keita, whose injury problems were exacerbated by Six’s predecessor, Paul Put, rushing him back from a long-term adductor problem for the AFCON last summer.

Keita played twice at the tournament in Egypt, and predictably was forced off after 71 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Nigeria, which was his first start for club or country in just under two months.

Liverpool will no doubt welcome the change in manager within the Guinea setup, as their ideals now seemingly align with those of Keita’s national team.

The midfielder has top-level potential, as he proved during his time with Leipzig, but he is yet to show it consistently for Liverpool, with a fragility hampering his progress.

He is not the only Reds player to be rested for the October break, as Egypt took the same approach with Mohamed Salah ahead of their friendly against Botswana.

Liverpool's Roberto Firmino and Fabinho, and Everton's Richarlison - arrived with contrasting moods at 7.50am.
While Richarlison went straight into the hotel, the Reds duo stopped to spend some time with the fans. Flashing his megawatt smile, Liverpool forward Firmino, decked in a black Versace hoodie, entertained autograph and wefie requests while his clubmate Fabinho also followed suit. Sales manager Dominic Teng, 31, said: "I had hoped Firmino would stay longer but he did look tired and it is okay because both he and Fabinho were very accommodating.
"It is really fantastic and breathtaking to be able to see and interact with our football heroes in person...

Richarlison will be angling for a move from Everton very soon. Bad enough they are such a mess, but you can guarantee he hangs out with Bobby, Fab and Alisson and their families in Liverpool, and just seeing what life is like on the other side of the fence must really get to him  ;D

Mind, he'll need to actually start playing better to get a move to a decent club.
