As someone who enjoys the show thank heavens Palace stepped in.  :o

Yes, I can imagine if you were a fan of the show it would be a difficult watch! ;D

'Well, obviously, if I had a better... and may I say, more attwactive partner, I may have been able to lift her in the air in the correct manner. I feel slightly let down this evening, tho obviously not as let down as my partner, who's wuptured her pelvis sadly, and sustained an injury to her spine, but you know... haha... this is ballroom dancing, and I've seen everything over the years on the dancefwoor.'

The thing that infuriates me about this man is his lack of responsibility. If Palace doesn't turn things around before January, he'll blame it on DeBoer. "I didn't get a transfer window and had to make due with the squad that was left me." (Always with that uplifting putdown of the players.) But if they do manage to get out of the relegation zone, he'll take all the credit. "It was very difficult with the players who were left by the previous manager, but they tried very hard and sometimes managed to surprise even me."

Fuck off.
Oh, these sour times.

Owl about that.

"Well, as you know, the players are currently in shambles due to the change in manager. I'm not sure what you expected me to do on such short notice with this group of lads, but hopefully in the days and weeks to come, they'll be able to rise above their current station and win a point or two. We've got some very difficult matches approaching, and if we can come out of those with a draw here and there, I think you'll see a positive change in the club and the players."

Or some such similar bullshit.

You only need to look at what happened after the England vs Iceland game to see how little he cares about the media or match going fans.  He had to be pushed to turn up to the press conference after one of England's most disappointing exits in a good two decades, then has the temerity to moan about the media rather than actually understanding he was well out of his depth.

One of the few guys who seems like a total twat, it's remarkable he's once again hired back in to the football carousel despite one failure after another, but such is the modern game.

even in an interview shown before the match today he absolved himself of any blame for the iceland game, something along the lines of "what can you do when the players don't show the form they had previously"

Away to City next week then away to United, then home to Chelsea and away to Newcastle

Ouch, they are screwed
 :wanker ;D

How long before he starts blaming Frank De Boer and how long will he keep that up, I would suggest he has those 4 more games then he will have had more games than Frank.

"It could be an even worse scenario when that spell is over," said Hodgson.  He's off on that confidence building stuff again.

As everybody knows, Hodgson's away record anywhere he's ever been has always been dismal.

There's no way Palace will get anything from City or United. You'd think Chelsea will have too much for them too, so it could be 8 games with no points  ;D
