One of the great test matches that

Still not sure you can say that until they revert back to full contact Rugby with tackling allowed.

Not much competition for you down in the South, do you want to join the Six Nations?

Amazing match. How Australia lost that after scoring 5 tries and being in that position is beyond me.

I'm looking forward to the games against Sth Africa. I think this AB side has problems and the Saffas look resurgent.

Was like our Norwich game with the Lallana winner. :D

Great game, how many times did that lead change hands there? Think NZ had the belief, knew that if they got the ball back they'd get one more chance.

Lots of high scoring games in the opening round, is that just a combination of hard ground, players at various stages of fitness and a few depleted squads? Made for good entertainment anyway.

You don't want to say it cause you sound like a conspiracy theorist but fuck me they get some 'leeway' from the officials. Clear obstruction from Retallick on thier try and then Gardiner and his touch judge didn't want anything to do with going upstairs for a pass that was clear as day forward.

That starting 15 for All Blacks is just awesome. It helps though that the Springboks seems to have 14 on the pitch for all the help which poor old Rhule is/was offering.

Every time I watch the all blacks I get more impressed with what the lions done this summer. There is no more dominant team in sport. No one can live with them, especially at home.

England playing the All Blacks next year. Finally. First time in 4 years.

Good timing. The money in the northern hemisphere leagues has so significantly eroded the quality in Sth African and Australian competitions that it is now the northern hemisphere sides that the All Blacks need to test themselves against.

Every time I watch the all blacks I get more impressed with what the lions done this summer. There is no more dominant team in sport. No one can live with them, especially at home.

Which leads on to this post. The All Blacks will have to be wary, in future, as to where they really sit. Probably not as far ahead of England/Ireland as many make out.

Sean O'Brien: The Lions should have beaten the All Blacks "comfortably enough"
He thinks the coaching team made some mistakes in New Zealand...

When Leinster and Ireland star Sean O'Brien looks back at the summer's Lions tour, he believes that the British and Irish selection should have won the series and that the coaching panel made a number of mistakes.

"To be honest with you I’d be pretty critical of it. I think we probably should have won the tour and we probably should have won it comfortably enough. I think there’s a lot of learning to take from the tour in terms of the coaching setup as well and from a player's point of view in terms how we dealt with things, but it’s a weird one I suppose, drawing a series" he told Off The Ball.

"I think the first week we definitely over-trained on the Thursday - maybe the coaches were maybe panicking a little bit about getting the information into us and the workload.

"I think we did nearly a similar thing on the last week. Maybe it’s more of a coaching point of view in terms of taking lessons. Maybe less is more sometimes on a tour like that," he added, speaking to Oisin Langan.

The Irish forward said that he raised his concerns regarding the squad's preparation with coaching staff during the tour.

"With the squad we had, we probably should have beat them," the Tullow man continued, noting that he still enjoyed the tour and that the team can be proud of a number of their performances.

A Welsh player of another age would have attempted to take the lion off on a pub crawl in a golf buggy. Game's gone.

Well the Lions and their supporters think French refs are good, no?

Wayne Barnes and his willingness to let forward passes go is my favourite.

Remember you marking Mackenzie down as a punchable twat in the summer Trumps. Confirmed it there with that try. Did nothing wrong bar turn a possible defeat into yet another likely win for you.
