Not arsed about his engagement photos, if they are happy then good for them

I do however feel he should be moved on this season. Is not good or reliable enough for a team competing for the league title unfortunately

It's a damn shame it never really happened for him here. Always thought he would be that midfield goal threat we've been trying out for but maybe he can do that for somebody else. If we can, we should try move him on this window

How much would we get for him, £10 - 15 mill? Or keep him for the domestic cups being a senior experienced player with the kids. It's the latter for me.

There was a piece inthe athletic today which said more or less that we'll wait and see if offers come in, and that we're looking for £10mil

Before the World Cup it's something like a game every 3 - 4 days. Given Thiago, Henderson and Milner are the wrong side of 30, I personally think it would be daft to let him go, unless one of the 'kids' is ready to step up.

No. He's 7th or 8th on the 'depth chart' I reckon.

He certainly finished the season right at the bottom of the midfield pecking order, but its a new season so who knows. If he has a decent pre-season it might end up bumping him back up

He's after Hendo.

It all depends on what system we play also.

If we play 2 in midfield sitting then you would go with Fab and Thiago with Hendo & Milner as main back up.

If you play 3 in midfield it would be Fab, Thiago and Hendo with Milner & Kieta/ Jones as back up.

If you play 2-3-1 then you would say it Fab, Thiago and either Eilliot, Carvalho, Ox as the main AM.

That's how we ended last season too - and yet post-AFCON Chamberlain was nowhere to be seen (and frequently didn't make the bench).
