Watching bits and pieces of I'm Alan Partridge, it's crazy how many quotable lines there are in every episode. There's not a wasted moment in all twelve episodes.

Let’s paint a scenario. The last osprey in Britain is killed by a football. The last osprey egg is stolen and scrambled for a Russian oligarch’s breakfast who eats it without one iota of remorse, in his leather jacket. Simply wipes his lips and says “Simples.”

And Bill Oddie goes apeshit.

Wasn’t he one of the Goodies, now he’s a baddie.

Oddie is like a bearded Catherine Wheel, scything through the crowd.

:lmao

It’s my own fault but I have watched MMM nearly as much as the early stuff but it’s still so good.

MMM doesn't get nearly enough love as it deserves, it's up there with having some of his best lines and scenes in imo.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

That was Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark with some classic electro-rock from their album ‘Architecture and Morality’, two subjects I’m sure we could discuss all night. Indeed, the lines are open if you want to call, make a comment on either architecture or morality, two equally hot but differently shaped potatoes. Chips, and… crinkle-cut chips. So, give me a call, please!

Seriously, though, *do* give me a call.

It's 4.50am, the Queen is dead, long live the King's Singers!

You then have to watch the following clip - part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKl4u9SnXD4&ab_channel=WyvernTheTerrible
:lmao

MMM is fast getting up there with the rest of his old stuff. It gets better with time.

Just seen that English Darts player Tony Ayres has died.

I dare not look to see if he fell off a roof dismantling a TV Ariel.

RIP Tony.

Same  ;D was just wondering whether it would be SHIT! or THRIKER!

Was it a Redknapp goal where the commentator just goes "OH MY GOD"? Can't find it on Youtube. Always reminds me of Partridge

In 2008 I spotted Haddaway in a hotel steam room. I strode over, introduced myself and said I wanted him to sing a jingle I'd written. The sessions went badly, and it was only when I visited the same hotel and saw him dredging the pool that I realised he wasn't Haddaway, just a man who worked for Jurys Inn.

26th for me, Edinburgh. It's cholesterol, Scottish people eat it.

I have to go down there, despite being a soft Southern pansy from the Home Counties.

Incidentally, I'm yet to engage a local here in the topic of just who is the best Bond, and why nobody else can pull off a safari suit just like him?
