Have heard some beaches were sucked dry of water. Presumably it's down to winds, storms surges and the sheer amount of moisture being moved/absorbed.

Saw a video of it on Twitter reminds me when a Tsunami hits.

Most of those high-rise luxurious condos are very close to the beach and shore, if not directly next to it. They did predict a few feet of flooding due to storm surge in Miami so scenes like that were to be expected. Most of the people living there were evacuated anyway.

Naples is really in for it though. They're expecting around 10-15 feet of storm surge, and I imagine all the low-lying areas and those close to shore will completeley flood.

There are so many things about this that make my blood boil.

First, why the fuck does God send category 4 hurricanes in the first place?

Third, why didn't Trump pray for the Caribbean Islands that have suffered massive damage?

Fourth, why didn't Trumop and all the other God botherers pray for the areas devastated buy Monsoons at the same time? At least 1,200 dead and 40 million, that's 40 million people affected.

That's the thing about Hurricanes and Monsoons - you might believe in the power of prayer and  not believe climate change is real but climate change doesn't give a fuck what you believe.

The weatherman looking at the live sat map and saying in 5 minutes all hell with break loose and he would be spot on.

They are in the eye of the storm right now and it suddenly went calm.

Now waiting for that to end and the winds suddenly go in the other direction and the sea surge to come in.
