My mum used to make ginger marmalade using marrows. It was gorgeous but I never got the recipe off her 😔

Someone gave me a recipe for courgette and ginger marmalade a long,long time ago.

I never got around to making it because my father was absolutely horrified by the idea of 'vegetable jam'.

We'd never have known if we hadn't caught her making it but as we'd already eaten it and loved it it didn't matter 😂

It's a pity I don't have such a souvenir from my first game - Liverpool 2 Man United 2 in 1971. It was pay on the gate in the Road End, hence no ticket stub.
