Resident Parking Permits in Anfield
« on: July 9, 2018, 11:04:19 am »
Anyone know about resident parking permits around the footy grounds?

Looked at a couple of houses in L4, they're both pretty decent and within my budget, only sticking point is the parking.

Does anyone know how much it costs for one resident permit, how long the application takes, and if I'd be able to park there after moving in but while waiting for the permit? Pain in the hoop if I had to park a mile away while waiting.

There's limited info on the council website and agent and landlord are none the wiser.

Do the current owners have a permit currently? As I'm fairly sure you can just change the name/car details on that.

Doesn't look like it. House is vacant, the landlord is down south too and this is just one of his many many houses.

From a quick look they say allow 15 days for the application to be processed. Doubt you can park there in the meantime either.

Think theyre free if you live there and each house gets 1 permit plus a guest one.Grandad and uncle used to live off priory rd.If you buy a house im guessing theyd have to give you it.

Iknow the offices are down past Aldi on walton rd and takes aboot a month

From what i remember its only matchday you need the permit

Also, like craig said,if they already have one you just change the name etc over.It takes a few weeks

Cheers fellas, that's brilliant. Didn't realise it was only during the footy season. Looking doable!

It takes 5 mins at the one stop once you’re moved in and registered for council tax, you need the insurance doc or V5 to get one specific to your car but they always give you a visitors as well and you can just request that one.

The signs say on them Aug-May, so few weeks til they’ll be out checking.

It was brought in to alleviate match day parking but it's classed as residents parking mon - fri 1700 to 2200 and 10-00  to 18-00 at the weekend so a warden can give you a ticket during these times whether theres match or not . So though it's only during the footy season it's not just applicable match days
