Going to go into town to see her tomorrow, won't be getting there til mid-evening so will probably only catch the uncle sleeping and her and the dog getting towards Kings Dock.

Will be going on Sunday, can't wait, heard they are closing the show by sailing the giants down the Mersey, that should be superb. Thanks for the photos everyone, keep them coming.

From the event map it seems it'll be from right in front of the 3 graces and from there going down James Street and towards st Georges hall before going down Whitechapel/ paradise street then back onto the strand and to the kings dock were the uncle giant should arrive at around the same time.

Went to see the uncle wake up in Stanley Park and then up to Anfield to see him pass there. Impressive stuff, those blokes who swing on the ropes to make his legs move must be fucking shattered by the end of the day.
Only drawback was the smoke they released in the park, couldn't see the point and it only served to obscure the view.

Ive had on good authority that there is to be another 'Giant' spectacular representing the fortunes of Everton and Liverpool, in the Everton one a giant marionette of David Moyes will emerge from Goodison and walk the streets of Liverpool all weekend searching for a trophy , only to return empty handed....The Liverpool one unfortunatly, wont be as spectacular..as a giant marionette of Kenny Dalglish will emerge from Anfield also searching for a trophy....but will find one before he even gets half way down Anfield Road and its all over in half an hour.

Saw the girl this morning. Really impressed at both the show and the level of support. It's great to see the city get behind things that are, seemingly, so mad!

Saw the uncle earlier this afternoon going down London road, then saw the girl and the dog at Kings Dock later this evening. Loved seeing it all, and like others find it amazing that they're jumping off a stand to make the uncle walk. It's brilliant!

I've been doing bits of work for the event and it's been brilliant, personally I've loved seeing the kids reactions when ever they see any of the giants. First time, in a long time, I've gone through North Liverpool and felt a massive community spirit. Usually it's quite reserved around our way but this festival has really been receiving the full support from all the residents of the area.

Final day tomorrow then off to the match. It's has been a privallege to be involved in a very small way.

Fucking hell Vdm, people are missing so much about that classic pic. Not only is the lambanana wonderfully placed in the foreground in an image 20 years ago would have no representation of anything Liverpool at all. But, even without the benefit of a full view of the lambanaa, I see it as them both looking at each other and thinking "what the fuck" ...

On Friday I started in Stanley Park walking with the Girl to Everton Brow. Then in the Afternoon I followed the Diver through town but I finished my work before it got to St George's Hall. However today though John I did see the diver finish at St George's Hall after a long day!

Roll on tomorrow, finishing with the Reds playing West Brom, been a wonderful weekend that needs the cherry on the cake with three points.

Well we sort of got a VIP cup of tea in St George's Hall, around by the North Entrance :)

Last day today, fingers crossed we get lucky one more time with the weather.

I have to say  I was bowled over by this...not just by the spectacle itself, which was brilliant....but the emotional engagement by so many thousands of people...what was it, the story?...the giants?....their almot human quality ( and doggy quality)?....who knows...but I saw young an old affected by their prescence....wonderful...weird...and very human!
