They constantly paint over the vomit and other fluids covering the walls there, because as you know.... you can't dust for vomit.

Horrible place it is, but good to go when you're absolutely smashed and don't really care.

Head for the Tube, Matthew Street for after 10pm, its more cheesey than a bag of wotsits and with 80s music blaring out you'll have a laugh!

I don't know why people slag the Krazyhouse off. It's the only rock club in the city, and it's been a haven for thousands of people over the years. Ok, a lot of the music it plays might be quite mainstream but what do you expect when it's the only rock club in Liverpool? You don't go there to hear obscure album tracks, you go there to have fun.

I'm with you on that score, never had a bad night in years of going the Krazyhouse, havent been for around 18 months mind, but had some great times in this place.

Got loads of lads down here for a mates stag do this weekend. Unfortunately Sat day/night is fancy dress (i'm not happy about it). I've seen plenty around Conny square getting knocked back. Any ideas if Mathew Street let dick heeds in fancy dress in on a Saturday night?

Hopefully not  ;)

I wouldn't have thought you'd have many problems down Mathew St, I've been down there in fancy dress once a good few years ago and had no problems, can't remember what night it was though.

Don't know what was going on on Saturday night but there were absolutely loads of people in fancy dress round Hardman St

In the corridors and changing rooms of Anfield I met many people - the great, the talented, the legendary.  I know that I only met one genius.  He was a small, smiling man with a neatly clipped beard.  His name was Rafael Benitez.

The Krazyhouse is a pretty good alternative considering about 95% of all the other places in town play the same mainstream club stuff. Yes it could be better and its got it's own faults but it's become a haven for me and my other mates at our age over the last few years.

The only other place trying to be a sanctuary for the goths and moshers is the Planet X nights at Le Bataeu and they haven't had one of those nights since Christmas. One coming up again on the 29th though.

BTW does anyone know what is up with the scalls who are packed into 3 door cars at 3.30am with no other intention than to drive down Slater Street and stare at people?

Read the review of the Hub in the Echo a few weeks back was very complimentary. Popped in for a beer last week when I was up visiting  family. Good range of beers and snacks.  Prices about average for town, owned by Bistro Franc and Pierre group. http://www.thehub-liverpool.com/

How shit do waistcoats look seriously? I mean without a suit. I've seen people with just white t-shirts and a waistcoat on? What the fuck?

Went to a strip club near to Matthew Street about six years ago that was under a pub, went during the day and it was quality. Cant remember is name but it cost £7.50 to get in and that included a dance.
Any ideas if its still open and what the name is ?
