Nice seeing a smoke bomb let off in the middle of the echo arena.

Fair play to them. They put on a pretty decent bar service even if it was fucking expensive

I always stick with The Excelsior, Dale Street - good ale, foods not bad and nice atmosphere, plus if you get in handy enough you can get a good seat.
Finished work at 4.pm yesterday and got a decent table for four of us.

Thought the camp and furnace was decent enough last night. Got full pretty early but it never felt too packed thankfully.

Seen some place in Smithdown saying their showing it.
I'd of said Mccooleys on concert square, but they're doing some geordie shore shite instead. Might be tough to find somewhere in town tonight, think they'd rather cater to all the freshers.

Apparently the Excelsior and Esperanza have it on in town and Love and Rockets (formerly Bier) is showing it on Lark Lane

Harder than it used to be (when we're not on Sky/BT) isn't it?

Usually watch the match in the Dovedale myself, but have always had Marantos and Rhubarb as back ups.  None of them show non-Sky/BT any longer.

Love & Rockets - although they promoted it on their Twitter - told me (at the bar) that they weren't showing it.

Tribeca on Smithdown Road did show the match tonight, and seems the best mid-south Liverpool bet at the moment.

The Excelsior on Dale Street will have it on, 5 minutes walk from the station.

Thanks, made it to the Sandon for the last ten minutes although wasn't too bothered once I saw it was 4-0

I will be in town for the Watford game.
Anyone know a place where I can watch the Porto v Benfica game that's on at 18h?
I suppose it's being shown on BT sports.

If it's on BT most pubs would put it on if you ask. There's nothing much of a clash at that time so can't see a pub not showing it.

A friend watched a game in Tom Halls tavern recently and said the staff were spot on about other  (non Liverpool and Everton) games being on.

Haven't been myself though.

Most places will certainly put it on if you ask. Rack and Dollar on Berry Street has quite a few screens showing different things usually so I think they would definitely be showing it anyway - they usually put on any football that is on TV. If it's not already on there they'd put it on if you ask.

Try the Halton Castle in West Derby Village, normally show the 3pm games.

Was pleasantly surprised to find The Coburg, Stanhope Street was showing both our game and the BS. Its a bit out of the way, but handy if your in the area.

Town itself is can be amenable to just spacing out but feeling connected depending on who you're in with, and Concert Square's always changing with big accesible screens, but that's no substitute to being near Anfield

Did you look at the meaning of the word and think about it and why it could have relevance in this thread, or did you just want to have a pop at me for wanting to share something?  ;D not after an answer, really, just dunno why you bothered.

Can anyone recommend a family pub that will show the United game on 15th in Liverpool City Centre - family as the wife and kids will be there as  well as two well behaved dogs (Reds supporters of course).

Have got to get the train from Lime Street to Euston immediately after full time hence canine problem.

Tribeca's a good place to watch the game. Big screen on one side, two reasonably sized telly's on the other. Pizza's are great. It's popular though so you need to get there handy if you want a table. There's a smaller side room separated by a curtain where they show the Everton game if they happen to be playing at the same time. Usually hear nothing but groans or silence from them and then they skulk out afterwards.

Any recommendations for somewhere Central to watch the game tomorrow that serves food and decent ale?

Ideally somewhere we can grab a table and get some food and beers whilst watching the game before heading off out properly afterwards.

Someone recommended Kaiser Keller on Mathew Street (not been there myself yet).

Other than that, one of the lads suggested O'Neills.

Your mates have questionable standards.

Get to Tribeca or rack and dollar early. Then again if you want a table you'll have to be anywhere early tomorrow
