That would never be given at the other end. Easy for the ref to be brave against a small club.

Sums it up. But I think it’s only both of the Manc clubs that would be given that goal. Every other time a Keeper feels a gust of wind it’s a free out.

Was game over at 1-0 now at 2-0 may as well blow it up.

Looks like ourselves, Chelsea and City will be smashing all the dross of the league this season. The title may come down to whoever has the best record against the top 5/6 sides.

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can do it over a season and get 90 plus points.

City form looks ominous and they can get that total easily.

City playing really well but Brighton look no better than Watford last week.
I always find that these progressive offensive-minded small clubs like Brighton play right into City's and our hands. It's commendable that they always try to play football, but when confronted with a much better footballing side that will dominate possession, they are clueless, cause they don't know how to defend deep and compact.

Potter is fairly good tactically in all honesty.

City just look sharper.

Pressure on us tomorrow now.

Yeah, I probably was a bit harsh with Brighton, as they usually are more solid than the type of sides I was describing, but they've been a right mess today.

Let's at least wait and see who we get as manager before writing off our entire future.

Not writing us off so much as admitting city being allowed to spend whatever they want has made it impossible for anyone to compete with them long term. I wish it were different but nobody cares enough to bring in regulation that would make the league more competitive,

Yes, but it still doesn't mean that other managers cannot also find a way of competing. I share your frustration in how the PL are, but it's pointless as there is nothing we can do about them. Other than follow the example of the Palace fans perhaps and start being a bit more vocal in our opposition of the rich oil clubs. If fans start becoming a bit more proactive about this it will at least put the spotlight on the authorities and what they have allowed happen to the game. They have got away with it, the Palace fans proved today there are still  means we can embarrass those who have allowed these arses into the game.

If that spill had been from Alisson someone is there to put it in. That has been our luck inside our own box this season. Every bounce seems to find an opponent in space.

Hence the use of the word long term. They are also the only reason we've not won a load more with this manager and set of players.

Brighton are a decent team, wasnt mad to think maybe they could get something.

City have had a pretty good set of results against good teams at their grounds this season so far.

Silva is holding this side together. He by far their best player, besides maybe KDB, but he has not been himself so far this season.
