DCL has had a significant relapse in his recovery from his thigh injury.

Their paper thin squad exposed once again.

Don't want to get this banned again, but on the topic of squad depth, have they actually done anything in regards to *he who should not be named* ??? - There's nothing to indicate he's been released but it's remarkably quiet on the whole thing. Either way I think his career is finished now.

Worrying Times™ again now with Calvert Lewin out a while longer, and Docuoure too. That squad is a fucking disgrace and ideally they won't be able to add anyone significant next season either, because I think they'll be left with a worse squad than they had a few years ago under Koeman and Silva where relegation looked possible for a short period of time. The best thing that could happen after they sack Rafa is the next Marco Silva like character coming in, somebody with nothing about him who can't get the best out of the shit he has available.

Oh dear. My Evertonian grandson took great delight in highlighting our recent injuries including Curtis Jones.

Since then - Doucoure and Calvert - Lewin. Schadenfreude time?

And so it begins…
According to the Telegraph via BBC
NewOil United are after Calvert Lewin.
I wonder if the support for moneybags club owners I have been hearing this week from blues who are trying to rationalise the Saudi regime, because they too dream of being bankrolled by a country, will feel about being a feeder club again.

Interesting in the Athletic about the vote to stop Newcastle signing connected party sponsorship deals, apparently Everton were very vocal on the ban.

Quite strange considering the dodgy naming deals USM have given them recently- but then he doesn't own shares in Everton.

It will be interesting to see where that goes, if they bring in say an independent body to agree to the value of any commercial deal which was suggested in the Athletic piece

of course they where...in short term they are probably club at most risk if Newcastle can attract players and  take up Evertons valued 8th spot.

A real sense of glee over at GOT Towers. The warm glow of a United win has given them a spring in their step before Sunday...

Not sure most of them know who Everton are playing this weekend, but that's not the point, is it?
