My missus watches this, it makes Dexter look like The Wire.  The main chap looks like Dennis from Its Always Sunny, acts like him too, just without the laughs.

Started S3 last night and so far so good. Better than S2 started for me but not up there with S1 (which I don’t think a series like this ever will be as it’s part of the unknowing about him which makes it).

We'd watched 1&2 and to be honest I'd forgotten about them. Binged S3 over the w/e and thought it was good, but we spent most of the time laughing, especially at Joe's thought processes. Looked it up and was surprised to see it described as a psychological thriller.

I was ok with it, it just seemed to extend belief a bit too far. Curious to see what they do with season 4.

reassured to read this. as long as its still fun, i could barely care less how believable it is. more campy fun sounds good to me, kind of has to be after the season 2 ending.

it's not once been believable so far, starting with a guy staring into a manhattan flat on a busy street for hours in daylight not being spotted!

Never watched this but they are watching it on Gogglebox and what the fuck is up with the main fellas croaky voice when he is talking in his head? Sounds like some weird super villain voice? Won’t be watching.

Started a bit samey this series but from about episode 3 onwards it hooked me in again.

Obviously you have to suspend belief for a lot of it. For example

Spoiler
How does Joe manage to travel to France when his picture was all over the news? He's in literally no disguise there at the end in that bar

The LA vibe and the American shallowness is a little bit annoying( a lot of unattractive people) , but I think the main guy is a good actor.

Was enjoyable but not really the same show it started of as in season 1.

Spoiler
Also, for a show so strongly narrated having the twist at the end being bits you weren't shown by Joe seems a bit lazy by the writers. Think if we knew he knew about the poison and he popped some adrenaline earlier in the series for no reason as he predicted wrong and has to suffer the consequences could have been quite fun.

Missus watched it so I saw it whilst I was doing other things.

Thought it was absolute shite. Can't stand those shows where a bunch of airbrushed for-some-reason-rich 20 somethings all bang each other and go on about how important their lives and their lattes are, and their all dumb as fuck walking into ridiculously stupid situations. Maybe my view was tainted 'cos that bellend out of Gossip Girl was in it and every time I caught sight of that it was shit too.

Not for me ta'

Can't remember posting this, or watching the first episode.

I have binged season 1 since Monday night and watched the first three episodes of season two today. I just wasn't concentrating enough to get it before.

Only a couple of episodes into S4 but already enjoying the direction it's going. Embracing and steering into the ludicrousness fully now with no pretence of being a serious show

 :lmao

Looking forward to watching this but half tempted to wait until the rest of the episodes are out. Season 3 was a bit rubbish in places. In general I think the series misses the New York setting of the first season, but that being said I liked the second season a lot too. A bit sceptical about London as the setting this time around, interested to see where they take it next

So the common consensus seems to be that...

Spoiler
Rhys isn't real and it is Joe doing all the killing ala Fight Club. Or more believably, Rhys is a real person that Joe is aware of (i.e. an author and wannabe politician) but definitely not a killer, and Joe has just created that aspect whilst doing the killing himself. This is all due to the fact that Rhys pretty much never interacts witn anyone else (other than the funeral speech), and there is one scene where Joe is talking to Reece and someone asks him "what?" as if he was talking to himself. Joe has also been passed out when all the murders have taken place.
