I believe it can be turned off for certain websites though? Think you can whitelist websites with your bank. Not entirely sure.

Yes, I think you can provide your bank with permission to just pass the verification.
The problem is the LFC website not handling it properly when it doesn't go through. Yet another untested feature.

Dunno if it's an issue with certain banks or whether it's just completely random, as I've had 4 or 5 transactions on the site which have went through the verification and (touch wood) had no issues up to now

First time Ive personally had red blocks with no dropdown or access to blocks,very strange. I've tried in the past for tickets on a fastest finger basis and whether succesful or not always had dropdowns and blocks there.
When I tried the Shrewsbury page it works fine( I do realise there won't be the fastest finger demand on that one), judging by all the frustrated F5 ers on here having the problem of actually gaining entry onto the ticket page it must a change in the way the software is working and not a case of bots?
Or have they wrote some kind of program that only allows a set number of people access to the site when any blocks are red?

It's always on the late drops that the no drop down problem happens, for me anyway

The initial late availabiity sales and subsequent basket drops from that seem to be ok.
