Not arsed. We just want to pass it left to right in defence.

We never play well with early kick offs.

So flat.

Great to see that Trent to Salah over the top ball result in a goal which was one of our weapons last season.

Fabinho has been really good today.

Another really poor 45 minutes. Slow tempo, poor first touches, misplaced passes, lack of final ball. They had the best chances and should probably be one up. I can recall one interchange between Firmino and Salah that reminded me of how we can play but it's not been seen enough. Manes touch and final ball has been really poor. No idea how Sturridge isn't getting minutes right now given how poor our front three have been.

We have been dreadful in all departments - lucky to be ahead against an awful Fulham team. Trent, Gini and Mane in particular have to do a lot more. On current form City are light years ahead of liverpool

I thought looking at the lines in the grass he was offside and it wasn't close. Like 1-2 feet offside.

It was offside but they love a bit of controversy

I was hoping he was a few yards on after the scandal at Arsenal
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Could use an early goal second half. If they score this could turn into a mad game.

Still see us winning comfortably though.

Total shitshow of a performance so far. Don't deserve to be ahead and but for the referees, we would be trailing. Again, the touch of the players is totally off. Bobby and Sadio look like contest winners with their touch at the moment. Maybe someone needs to remind Mane that he is one of the fastest players in the league and there's no need for him to attempt to become the next Phil.

Midfield has been a disaster zone again, Fabinho is having to pick everything up on his own and Fulham are just flooding it. Gini is not working hard enough and we know that Shaq has his eyes firmly on moving forward, so we are just giving it away far too easily. This game is absolutely built for Keita to come in for Gini and just solidify it.

Having said that, we've been far too laborious and slow. The one time we absolutely smash them for pace, boom, 1-0. More speed required, more concentration, Fulham might be bottom but they've made it really difficult for teams to beat them. They could very easily have been 2-nil up against us; if that doesn't shake the lads into shape then nothing will.

Why? Even with replays it's not clear if he's on or off.

We look awful. International break coming at a good time I think.

He was clearly onside. Robertson kept him on.

We don’t look great at all. Way too direct in my opinion.

Lucky to be ahead. We are the better side, but Fulham have had a couple of really good chances. That offside goal is 50/50 for me, so we got lucky. That said, a fantasic attack for the goal. 13 seconds from the ballis in our net until it ends up in Fulham's net. We need to be a little sharper in the second to secure the points. An early second goal for us and we will score plenty.

We've been a bit rubbish. Fabinho's having a great game and has been our only stand-out performer really.

Trent has been pretty shocking, Mane's getting involved but his execution has been generally poor. As a team our shooting is pretty bad. I'm also hating Firmino in the withdrawn role because he does nothing. There's just no cohesion or flare at that end of the pitch, aside from that nice give-and-go between Firmino and Salah earlier on.

I'm liking what Shaqiri is offering us - an extra body in attack - but he, Firmino and Salah are all playing in the wrong positions.

We'll be alright if we tighten back up at the back again. Some sleepy defending is giving our keeper more work to do than he should have.

Nice sharp thinking for our goal from the three of them. Up to Fulham on how much they lose by if we do get ourselves sorted.

Great response after midweek game.
Can we bench the entire team for the next game please?

I'd be quite happy if our players miss the internationals.

Could very easily have been 4-3 to us at halftime.

Not sure about that..

All over the place. Why we've messed around with a winning formula upfront is anyone's guess. Salah is far better from the right, as seen with his goal and Firmino is better as the target top middle. We look a mess up front at the moment quite frankly.

Trent was great for the goal but was very wasteful before that. Turned the ball over 4 times in 15 mins. Stopped counting after that.
I think the same, can't stand him, but if you could have a £1million pound cheque or steve bruces head hollowed out and filled with pound coins which would you have?

Was getting heavy “one of those days” vibes for 40 odd minutes there.  Still might be of course, the game is not won yet, they look more than capable of getting something going forward.

I’ll be honest, I’d be fuming if we’d had that goal chalked off.  Didn’t look a lot wrong with it to me.  Hats off to Van Dijk for realising the situation quickly and getting Allison to play it out to Alexander-Arnold before Fulham knew what was happening.

Our play is so slow and pedestrian we are making it so easy for Fulham. What has happened to our tempo and press this season.

Pulis-ball in parts.

Positives - Shaqiri looks bright considering Fulham have parked the bus. Salah been good.

Hope we step it up second half

Hard to see if he was onside from the angles shown so far.

The one plus was the quick thinking of Becker to set up the goal; good stuff.

Overall very poor. We can forget about seeing the free-flowing football we are supposed to be capable of. If it isn't happening today, we won't find better opponents to look good against for a while, yet we are fortunate to be ahead.
