Disgraceful pricing £600 for a meal in the Boot Room and  a match ticket.

They hiked the prices up because people were paying touts this for standard tickets so they knew they'd sell them

Might be worth the £400 sacrifice for some one of the offisite packages if it gets to the magic 13

I do yeah, but thats just my opinion

Anyway, the club has put some hospo up for palace, burnley and villa, if you need 1 of those games to make it to 13 then I'd buy one
no not buying into that mate, would rather take my chances with the season restarting

If people have been hammering the late sales, using the local sales, and buying hospitality to help reach the 13 mark, then surely there's going to be a fair few more on 13+ than last season?

A few hospitality up for palace, burnley and villa. Unbelievable really in current climate. But did grab couple for villa!

If the season stretches into June/July are they going to be using this new ticketing site or will they put the rollout back?

Depends how sour the departure from Advanced Ticketing was

If the contract runs till like June, and the club have been arses then Advanced ticketing could say give us an absurd amount of money to keep your site going for an extra month

I can see the frustration people will have, but if 4900 have 13, and 5500 have 12 then it will have to stay at 13 based on the clubs 5k + 5k rule

The 5k + 5k rule hasn’t been used since the first few seasons.
If you look at the bulk sales nowadays I’d say at least 70 if not 80% of the tickets are sold in the first sale. I’ve been saying it for years the criteria for the first sale should rather go in order to get closer to the 50/50 they started with.

Not fair for people on 16-19 for years to miss out on kop tickets in guaranteed sale to someone that got 9-12 credits last season.
They should stagger the sales in order to reward loyalty.. but as they know the tickets will sell out anyway they just don’t care.

They never released figures, but fan update said this with a month to go.... plus 20% didnt do the update  :-\

I agree on it being 19,18,17 etc...

The club said that was a typo and should be 7000 attempts.

They have maintained at every forum the number on 15+ is circa 5k.

Doesn;t mean its correct of course

I missed that bit!

I've always seen 5k as the number, but there was about 1k left in the 4+ sale and then the restricted view seats got released too

I know the club holds back a few rows in annie road, and chunks in main stand upper - maybe the include them

If the Chelsea game was to drop, it be very tempted although I do wonder if they’ll have to change the fixture order due to the postponed fixtures etc

We could be lifting the trophy at any one of those fixtures

Just hope people are in the ground to see it

Well I said 9-12 matches as the club might lower the criteria next season.
I know a fair few regulars that attend more or less every match at Anfield for the past 10 years that missed out on kop tickets and had to settle for U1 & U9 in the last bulk sale.

They don't.

Might not miss out to anyone with 9-12, but still very very difficult to get Kop tickets even if you’ve got 19.

Me and my mate both on 19 for years (well, before this season when we’ve dropped to 17) and have managed to get the grand total of 1 Kop game in the last two seasons.

There's also someone out there that has had 19 for years but never managed to get any on the Kop until this season. Everyone obviously wants the Kop, but that's simply not possible.

This is clearly true. Last 3 seasons I have had the same thing happen.
July sales I can only get Main Stand and then Nov sales always manage to get all Kop tickets around 304/305.
The difference in price is incredible, but for me, I prefer to be in the Kop to sing and stand, rather than due to the cost

It'll be to do with the fact of 13 being the magic number kept the same, as say if 10,000 tickets are available and each season more and more people hit the magic 13 and above mark the number that 10,000 goes into becomes less.

Below as an example:

First season 5,000 people have 13+ everyone gets Kop tickets that wants them.
2nd season 6,000 people have 13+
3rd season 7,000 people have 13+
4th season 8,000 people have 13+

It lessens the chance of getting Kop tickets as the number should rise 14,15,16 each season but that creates a closed shop effect and lessens peoples chances in the free for all by not doing that.
But the club keep it fair in maintaining the magic 13.

Should just wipe loyalty and only sell to match goers who can prove where they live and been tested for virus.

Home Games are sold out and fans have accrued credits from the games bought - they have all the numbers to work with on which to base next years criteria

Right decision to make sure the season is finished eventually.

Behind closed doors or not is now the question.
