Is there a club that needs Tevez and is willing to pay 50 mil for him as well as his wages ? very much doubt it .
Thought he's going to Inter?
Tevez is a great player so I'm sure many clubs would want him. It's just his inevitable 'I want to leave' drama that's annoying.

i still think they are pretty average

tevez will leave.. people will soon realise that David Silva is not really that decisive.. they looked horrid against Kiev, expect such a performance @ UCL next year when they face a different type of football than that of the premier league.

overrated squad and manager.. yaya is boss though

Yup Yaya is a monster.Barca should of kept him

Tevez swap with Kaka?

Still think he's next in line after Messi and Ronaldo, but mentally he's, well, mental.

They are just rumours . Doubt Inter will be willing to spend 50 million on Tevez when there will be not much competition . Also Inter has 2 quality striker in Eto and Pazzini so its not like they desperately need a striker .

Why would Madrid want Tevez when they have Higuain and Benzema . They are more likely to go for a target man striker like Adebayor or Drogba IMO

Benzema isn't exactly gracing the pitch week in, week out and they've already got Adebayor on loan.

Why would Tevez go to Spain if he is homesick?
Or is it just an excuse to leave England?

I confidently listened to the bloke on the Liverpool channel the other day (press box) stating that City wouldn't spend that much! Ha ha

Absolutely ridiculous if this comes off.

The lads on SSN this morning looked like the cats that got the creme this morning at the news from Balague. 'Its going to be a big window' etc. IMHO, if this deal happens it has the potential to fuck up everyone else's plans. Suddenly Udinese think 'hang on...maybe Sanchez is worth a bit more'.

I remember when the Ronaldo deal happended last time and Real were trying to get Ribery at the same time...all of a sudden Bayern said 'well, if Ronaldo is worth £80m......'

It could just be an excuse but in fairness if he's based in Madrd for example, he'd be able to get direct flights to Argentina a lot more easily than from manchester. Plus there's more chance of his family settling there.

I dunno if I'm going soft but if (potentially a big if) this is about being closer to his kids then I'd be tempted to say 'fair enough' although it begs the question, why sign for City, and on a long contract in the first place.

I'm not saying the story is either true or false, but its quite naive to think that the story is rubbish just because Man City said so.

Ofcourse they might be lieing but i dont see any reason for them to lie about this .If anything remaining silent would have been more advantageous for them if they are pursuing Ronaldo .

Man City are a fucking joke, ruining football for everyone, I hate FIFA but they must do something about this, its a joke.

Dont know why madrid would accept, they paid 80 million for him so clearly they didnt buy him for his resale value. If it gets accepted and Ronaldo goes I will lose every bit of respect I have for the guy, and so will alot of people. I hate Man UTD but they made him into the best player in the world, he then bitched about how he ewanted to go to madrid, how its his dream, then 2 years later he signs for Man City ? I hope Ronaldo tells them to fuck off

What? In a world were Andy Carroll cost 35 million, Dimitar berbatov cost 30 million and talk of Aguero is nothing under 40 million pound, Cristiano Ronaldo is worth every single penny of 80 million. Just the 84 goals he has scored in 88 appearances like.

FFP?

City's wage bill is already like 120% of their turnover, and that's not even counting the transfer fees they've paid for players.

All that will happen is that they will not be allowed to enter European football. Which will make them stop their shenanigans soon enough.

They have like 3/4 years to amend it. Gab Marcotti did a brilliant article on it there a while ago, basically talking about how to get around it.
