Four episodes into series 5. Loving it - the whole bra thing with his maid, and the Kamikaze pilot stuff. Quality, as ever.

Jeff Greene: All of the women at HBO, they don't want to work with you.
Larry David: Oh, come on. That's ridiculous.
Jeff Greene: They think you're a misogynist.
Larry David: Why, 'cause I called the guy a c*nt? So what!
Jeff Greene: 'Cause you called the guy a c*nt.
Larry David: Big deal, I call men pricks all the time, men want to work with me.
Jeff Greene: Well, c*nt's worse.
Larry David: c*nt's not worse. Pricks and c*nts, they're equal. Pricks, c*nts, come on. They balance out.
Jeff Greene: No, c*nt is worse. c*nt's much heavier.
Larry David: Why? Why is c*nt heavier?
Jeff Greene: I never questioned, it just is.
Larry David: That's sexist to me! Come on.

Just finished S5, and another work of genius. Alas, already knew most of the best lines, thanks in part to this thread, and Claw texting me about women with big vaginas  :butt   ;D

Enjoyed S5 more than S4, as the recurring storylines were less dominating. And a superb final episode...

Also worth it to see Michael Yorke swear. I don't know why I find it so funny to see him say "fuck" and "fart"  ;D

Series 5 is now officially released in the US for those with multi-region DVD players. Ordered my copy today!!

Right, my series 5 DVD arrived from America yesterday.

Got home after work and watched the whole of the first disc (6 episodes).
I really am liking this series (more than the 4th series anyway). Up to now, my favourite episodes have been "the Smoking Jacket" and "Richard Lewis needs a Kidney".

By the way, in the game of eenie-meenie, what are you're thoughts. Was Larry or Jeff right. It got me thinking. Larry went out so does that make him the winner or loser?  ;D

My opinion would be to agree with anyhting Susie says (unless you want your balls in a vice!!)

Finished with my series 4 DVD on Saturday. Loved it, the last episode 'Opening Night' was a fuckin classic and it was good to see Jerry Seinfeld make an appearance, albeit a very brief one. Watching series 5 on the Irish station, TG4, the fourth episode is on tomorrow night, standard doesnt look to be dropping

I only saw this for the first time recently. My mum and I watched it late on a Friday night on some crazy digital channel when I'd just arrived from London - she just turned the TV on at random and, never having heard anything about the series, it grabbed me right away. By the end of it, I was literally crying with laughter and it was really starting to hurt my ribs.

It was the episode where Larry goes to Ben Stiller's birthday party (even though it is two weeks after his birthday - much to Larry's disgust). Incidents involve Larry stabbing Stiller in the eye with a cocktail stick and him coming to rude conclusions at the end of a game of "telephone" (AKA Chinese Whispers). There was also the thing with the T-shirt ending up on a blind man because it was so horrible. I thought it was brilliant, clever comedy.

I disagree with the comments above saying "if you like The Office, you'll like this". I hated The Office (which barely raised a smile from me before I gave up watching it) and think Ricky Gervais is a nasty piece of work. This, on the other hand, was genius.

there are certain similarities in that both are extremely cringing... some of the stuff larry is saying you are nearly shouting at the screen for him to shut up... bit like with Brent.

Went out and bought the proper copy of it yesterday and have watched one or two of my favourite episodes from it. The show's absolutely genius and I'd just like to thank RAWK for getting me hooked. Love his 'stare-outs' with people.

Any comedy that has the word c*nt in the majority of it's best parts - beloved c*nt, you c*nt what a c*nt, carwash c*nt - is alright in my book.
